1 (Dem Vorsänger, nach Schoschannim-Eduth. Von Asaph, ein Psalm.) 2 Hirte Israels, nimm zu Ohren, der du Joseph leitest wie eine Herde, der du thronst zwischen den Cherubim, strahle hervor! 3 Vor Ephraim und Benjamin und Manasse erwecke deine Macht und komm zu unserer Rettung! 4 O Gott, führe uns zurück und lass dein Angesicht leuchten, so werden wir gerettet werden! 5 HERR, Gott der Heerscharen, bis wann raucht dein Zorn gegen das Gebet deines Volkes? 6 Du hast sie mit Tränenbrot gespeist, und sie maßweise getränkt mit Tränen. 7 Du setztest uns zum Streit unseren Nachbarn, und unsere Feinde spotten untereinander. 8 O Gott der Heerscharen, führe uns zurück, und lass dein Angesicht leuchten, so werden wir gerettet werden! 9 Einen Weinstock zogst du aus Ägypten, vertriebst Nationen und pflanztest ihn. 10 Du machtest Raum vor ihm, und er schlug Wurzeln und erfüllte das Land; 11 die Berge wurden bedeckt von seinem Schatten, und seine Äste waren gleich Zedern Gottes. 12 Er streckte seine Reben aus bis ans Meer, und bis zum Strom hin seine Schösslinge. 13 Warum hast du seine Mauern niedergerissen, so dass ihn berupfen alle, die auf dem Weg vorübergehen? 14 Es zerwühlt ihn der Eber aus dem Wald, und das Wild des Gefildes weidet ihn ab. 15 Gott der Heerscharen, kehre doch wieder! Schaue vom Himmel und sieh, und suche heim diesen Weinstock, 16 und den Setzling, den deine Rechte gepflanzt, und das Reis, das du dir gestärkt hattest! 17 Er ist mit Feuer verbrannt, er ist abgeschnitten; vor dem Schelten deines Angesichts kommen sie um. 18 Deine Hand sei auf dem Mann deiner Rechten, auf dem Menschensohn, den du dir gestärkt hast! 19 So werden wir nicht von dir abweichen; belebe uns, und wir werden deinen Namen anrufen. 20 HERR, Gott der Heerscharen, führe uns zurück! Lass dein Angesicht leuchten, so werden wir gerettet werden.
