1 Dāūd kā zabūr.Ai Rab, merā insāf kar, kyoṅki merā chāl-chalan bequsūr hai. Maiṅ ne Rab par bharosā rakhā hai, aur maiṅ ḍāṅwāṅḍol nahīṅ ho jāūṅgā. 2 Ai Rab, mujhe jāṅch le, mujhe āzmā kar dil kī tah tak merā muāynā kar. 3 Kyoṅki terī shafqat merī āṅkhoṅ ke sāmne rahī hai, maiṅ terī sachchī rāh par chaltā rahā hūṅ. 4 Na maiṅ dhokebāzoṅ kī majlis meṅ baiṭhtā, na chālāk logoṅ se rifāqat rakhtā hūṅ. 5 Mujhe sharīroṅ ke ijtimāoṅ se nafrat hai, bedīnoṅ ke sāth maiṅ baiṭhtā bhī nahīṅ. 6 Ai Rab, maiṅ apne hāth dho kar apnī begunāhī kā izhār kartā hūṅ. Maiṅ terī qurbāngāh ke gird phir kar 7 buland āwāz se terī hamd-o-sanā kartā, tere tamām mojizāt kā elān kartā hūṅ. 8 Ai Rab, terī sukūnatgāh mujhe pyārī hai, jis jagah terā jalāl ṭhahartā hai wuh mujhe azīz hai. 9 Merī jān ko mujh se chhīn kar mujhe gunāhgāroṅ meṅ shāmil na kar! Merī zindagī ko miṭā kar mujhe ḳhūṅḳhāroṅ meṅ shumār na kar, 10 aise logoṅ meṅ jin ke hāth sharmnāk harkatoṅ se ālūdā haiṅ, jo har waqt rishwat khāte haiṅ. 11 Kyoṅki maiṅ begunāh zindagī guzārtā hūṅ. Fidyā de kar mujhe chhuṭkārā de! Mujh par mehrbānī kar! 12 Mere pāṅw hamwār zamīn par qāym ho gae haiṅ, aur maiṅ ijtimāoṅ meṅ Rab kī satāish karūṅga.
