1 Dāūd kā zabūr. Tarz: Ahd kā Sosan. Tālīm ke lie yih sunahrā gīt us waqt se mutālliq hai jab Dāūd ne Masoputāmiyā ke Arāmiyoṅ aur Zobāh ke Arāmiyoṅ se jang kī. Wāpasī par Yoāb ne Namak kī Wādī meṅ 12,000 Adomiyoṅ ko mār ḍālā.Ai Allāh, tū ne hameṅ radd kiyā, hamārī qilābandī meṅ raḳhnā ḍāl diyā hai. Lekin ab apne ġhazab se bāz ā kar hameṅ bahāl kar. 2 Tū ne zamīn ko aise jhaṭke die ki us meṅ darāṛeṅ paṛ gaīṅ. Ab us ke shigāfoṅ ko shifā de, kyoṅki wuh abhī tak thartharā rahī hai. 3 Tū ne apnī qaum ko talḳh tajraboṅ se dochār hone diyā, hameṅ aisī tez mai pilā dī ki ham ḍagmagāne lage haiṅ. 4 Lekin jo terā ḳhauf mānte haiṅ un ke lie tū ne jhanḍā gāṛ diyā jis ke irdgird wuh jamā ho kar tīroṅ se panāh le sakte haiṅ. (Silāh) 5 Apne dahne hāth se madad karke merī sun tāki jo tujhe pyāre haiṅ wuh najāt pāeṅ. 6 Allāh ne apne maqdis meṅ farmāyā hai, “Maiṅ fatah manāte hue Sikam ko taqsīm karūṅga aur Wādī-e-Sukkāt ko nāp kar bāṅṭ dūṅgā. 7 Jiliyād merā hai aur Manassī merā hai. Ifrāīm merā ḳhod aur Yahūdāh merā shāhī asā hai. 8 Moāb merā ġhusl kā bartan hai, aur Adom par maiṅ apnā jūtā phaiṅk dūṅgā. Ai Filistī mulk, mujhe dekh kar zordār nāre lagā!” 9 Kaun mujhe qilāband shahr meṅ lāegā? Kaun merī rāhnumāī karke mujhe Adom tak pahuṅchāegā? 10 Ai Allāh, tū hī yih kar saktā hai, go tū ne hameṅ radd kiyā hai. Ai Allāh, tū hamārī faujoṅ kā sāth nahīṅ detā jab wuh laṛne ke lie nikaltī haiṅ. 11 Musībat meṅ hameṅ sahārā de, kyoṅki is waqt insānī madad bekār hai. 12 Allāh ke sāth ham zabardast kām kareṅge, kyoṅki wuhī hamāre dushmanoṅ ko kuchal degā.
