1 Āsaf kā zabūr. Mausīqī ke rāhnumā ke lie. Tarz: Gittīt.Allāh hamārī quwwat hai. Us kī ḳhushī meṅ shādiyānā bajāo, Yāqūb ke Ḳhudā kī tāzīm meṅ ḳhushī ke nāre lagāo. 2 Gīt gānā shurū karo. Daf bajāo, sarod aur sitār kī surīlī āwāz nikālo. 3 Nae chāṅd ke din narsingā phūṅko, pūre chāṅd ke jis din hamārī īd hotī hai use phūṅko. 4 Kyoṅki yih Isrāīl kā farz hai, yih Yāqūb ke Ḳhudā kā farmān hai. 5 Jab Yūsuf Misr ke ḳhilāf niklā to Allāh ne ḳhud yih muqarrar kiyā. Maiṅ ne ek zabān sunī, jo maiṅ ab tak nahīṅ jāntā thā, 6 “Maiṅ ne us ke kandhe par se bojh utārā aur us ke hāth bhārī ṭokrī uṭhāne se āzād kie. 7 Musībat meṅ tū ne āwāz dī to maiṅ ne tujhe bachāyā. Garajte bādal meṅ se maiṅ ne tujhe jawāb diyā aur tujhe Marībā ke pānī par āzmāyā. (Silāh) 8 Ai merī qaum, sun, to maiṅ tujhe āgāh karūṅga. Ai Isrāīl, kāsh tū merī sune! 9 Tere darmiyān koī aur Ḳhudā na ho, kisī ajnabī mābūd ko sijdā na kar. 10 Maiṅ hī Rab terā Ḳhudā hūṅ jo tujhe Mulk-e-Misr se nikāl lāyā. Apnā muṅh ḳhūb khol to maiṅ use bhar dūṅgā. 11 Lekin merī qaum ne merī na sunī, Isrāīl merī bāt mānane ke lie taiyār na thā. 12 Chunāṅche maiṅ ne unheṅ un ke diloṅ kī zid ke hawāle kar diyā, aur wuh apne zātī mashwaroṅ ke mutābiq zindagī guzārne lage. 13 Kāsh merī qaum sune, Isrāīl merī rāhoṅ par chale! 14 Tab maiṅ jaldī se us ke dushmanoṅ ko zer kartā, apnā hāth us ke muḳhālifoṅ ke ḳhilāf uṭhātā. 15 Tab Rab se nafrat karne wāle dabak kar us kī ḳhushāmad karte, un kī shikast abadī hotī. 16 Lekin Isrāīl ko maiṅ behtarīn gandum khilātā, maiṅ chaṭān meṅ se shahd nikāl kar use ser kartā.”
