undefined (Thơ của Đa-vít, soạn cho nhạc trưởng khi Sau-lơ sai người vây nhà để giết Đa-vít) 1 Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin giải thoát con khỏi tay quân thù nghịch.Bảo vệ con giữa bọn người chống nghịch con. 2 Xin cứu con khỏi phường gian ngoa;và bọn người khát máu bạo tàn. 3 Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, họ phục kích, rình rập,tụ tập những người hung dữ để giết hại con,dù con không làm điều gì phạm pháp. 4 Con không làm gì sai trái,họ vẫn chuẩn bị tấn công.Xin Chúa tỉnh thức! Sẵn sàng phù hộ và tra xét. 5 Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời Vạn Quân, Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên,xin trỗi dậy trừng phạt các dân.Xin đừng thương xót bọn vô đạo bạo tàn. 6 Đến tối, họ quay lại,gầm gừ như chó,hùng hổ kéo quanh thành. 7 Miệng chửi rủa như gươm giáo;lời họ như những thanh gươm.Họ châm chọc: Có ai nghe đâu nào! 8 Nhưng Chúa Hằng Hữu nhạo cười chúng.Ngài chế giễu các dân tộc. 9 Chúa là sức mạnh con; con trông đợi Ngài giải cứu,vì Ngài, lạy Đức Chúa Trời, là pháo đài kiên cố. 10 Đức Chúa Trời đón con vào vòng tay từ ái,cho con vui mừng thấy số phận người hại con. 11 Xin đừng giết họ vội, e dân con quên bài học;nhưng xin dùng quyền năng phân tán, đánh đổ họ.Lạy Chúa, là cái thuẫn phù hộ của chúng con, 12 Tội của môi miệng chúng nó,tội của miệng họ là cái lưỡi xảo quyệt,xin cho họ mắc bẫy kiêu căng,vì lời nguyền rủa và dối gạt. 13 Xin hủy phá trong cơn thịnh nộ!Xóa bôi họ trên mặt địa cầu!Rồi cho cả thế giới biết rằngĐức Chúa Trời trị vì Gia-cốp. 14 Đến tối, họ quay lại,gầm gừ như chó,hùng hổ kéo quanh thành. 15 Chúng sục sạo tìm mồi đây đó,rình suốt đêm vì bụng chưa no. 16 Nhưng con sẽ ca ngợi sức mạnh Chúa.Mỗi buổi sáng, con sẽ hát vang về lòng thương xót của Ngài.Vì Chúa là chiến lũy kiên cố,là nơi bảo vệ con trong ngày hoạn nạn. 17 Lạy Đấng Sức Mạnh của con, con ca ngợi Ngài,vì Ngài, lạy Đức Chúa Trời, là nơi ẩn náu.Đức Chúa Trời đầy lòng thương xót.
