1 Ayyūb ne jawāb meṅ kahā, 2 “Beshak āj merī shikāyat sarkashī kā izhār hai, hālāṅki maiṅ apnī āhoṅ par qābū pāne kī koshish kar rahā hūṅ. 3 Kāsh maiṅ use pāne kā ilm rakhūṅ tāki us kī sukūnatgāh tak pahuṅch sakūṅ. 4 Phir maiṅ apnā muāmalā tartībwār us ke sāmne pesh kartā, maiṅ apnā muṅh dalāyl se bhar letā. 5 Tab mujhe us ke jawāboṅ kā patā chaltā, maiṅ us ke bayānāt par ġhaur kar saktā. 6 Kyā wuh apnī azīm quwwat mujh se laṛne par sarf kartā? Hargiz nahīṅ! Wuh yaqīnan mujh par tawajjuh detā. 7 Agar maiṅ wahāṅ us ke huzūr ā saktā to diyānatdār ādmī kī tarah us ke sāth muqaddamā laṛtā. Tab maiṅ hameshā ke lie apne munsif se bach nikaltā! 8 Lekin afsos, agar maiṅ mashriq kī taraf jāūṅ to wuh wahāṅ nahīṅ hotā, maġhrib kī jānib baṛhūṅ to wahāṅ bhī nahīṅ miltā. 9 Shimāl maiṅ use ḍhūnḍūṅ to wuh dikhāī nahīṅ detā, junūb kī taraf ruḳh karūṅ to wahāṅ bhī poshīdā rahtā hai. 10 Kyoṅki wuh merī rāh ko jāntā hai. Agar wuh merī jāṅch-paṛtāl kartā to maiṅ ḳhālis sonā sābit hotā. 11 Mere qadam us kī rāh meṅ rahe haiṅ, maiṅ rāh se na bāīṅ, na dāīṅ taraf haṭā balki sīdhā us par chaltā rahā. 12 Maiṅ us ke hoṅṭoṅ ke farmān se bāz nahīṅ āyā balki apne dil meṅ hī us ke muṅh kī bāteṅ mahfūz rakhī haiṅ. 13 Agar wuh faislā kare to kaun use rok saktā hai? Jo kuchh bhī wuh karnā chāhe use amal meṅ lātā hai. 14 Jo bhī mansūbā us ne mere lie bāndhā use wuh zarūr pūrā karegā. Aur us ke zahan meṅ mazīd bahut-se aise mansūbe haiṅ. 15 Isī lie maiṅ us ke huzūr dahshatzadā hūṅ. Jab bhī maiṅ in bātoṅ par dhyān dūṅ to us se ḍartā hūṅ. 16 Allāh ne ḳhud mujhe shikastādil kiyā, Qādir-e-mutlaq hī ne mujhe dahshat khilāī hai. 17 Kyoṅki na maiṅ tārīkī se tabāh ho rahā hūṅ, na is lie ki ghane andhere ne mere chehre ko ḍhāṅp diyā hai.
