1 Dāūd kā zabūr. Yāddāsht ke lie.Ai Rab, apne ġhazab meṅ mujhe sazā na de, qahr meṅ mujhe tambīh na kar! 2 Kyoṅki tere tīr mere jism meṅ lag gae haiṅ, terā hāth mujh par bhārī hai. 3 Terī lānat ke bāis merā pūrā jism bīmār hai, mere gunāh ke bāis merī tamām haḍḍiyāṅ galne lagī haiṅ. 4 Kyoṅki maiṅ apne gunāhoṅ ke sailāb meṅ ḍūb gayā hūṅ, wuh nāqābil-e-bardāsht bojh ban gae haiṅ. 5 Merī hamāqat ke bāis mere zaḳhmoṅ se badbū āne lagī, wuh galne lage haiṅ. 6 Maiṅ kubaṛā ban kar ḳhāk meṅ dab gayā hūṅ, pūrā din mātamī libās pahne phirtā hūṅ. 7 Merī kamr meṅ shadīd sozish hai, pūrā jism bīmār hai. 8 Maiṅ niḍhāl aur pāsh pāsh ho gayā hūṅ. Dil ke azāb ke bāis maiṅ chīḳhtā-chillātā hūṅ. 9 Ai Rab, merī tamām ārzū tere sāmne hai, merī āheṅ tujh se poshīdā nahīṅ rahtīṅ. 10 Merā dil zor se dhaṛaktā, merī tāqat jawāb de gaī balki merī āṅkhoṅ kī raushnī bhī jātī rahī hai. 11 Mere dost aur sāthī merī musībat dekh kar mujh se gurez karte, mere qarīb ke rishtedār dūr khaṛe rahte haiṅ. 12 Mere jānī dushman phande bichhā rahe haiṅ, jo mujhe nuqsān pahuṅchānā chāhte haiṅ wuh dhamkiyāṅ de rahe aur sārā sārā din farebdeh mansūbe bāndh rahe haiṅ. 13 Aur maiṅ? Maiṅ to goyā bahrā hūṅ, maiṅ nahīṅ suntā. Maiṅ gūṅge kī mānind hūṅ jo apnā muṅh nahīṅ kholtā. 14 Maiṅ aisā shaḳhs ban gayā hūṅ jo na suntā, na jawāb meṅ etarāz kartā hai. 15 Kyoṅki ai Rab, maiṅ tere intazār meṅ hūṅ. Ai Rab mere Ḳhudā, tū hī merī sunegā. 16 Maiṅ bolā, “Aisā na ho ki wuh merā nuqsān dekh kar baġhleṅ bajāeṅ, wuh mere pāṅwoṅ ke ḍagmagāne par mujhe dabā kar apne āp par faḳhr kareṅ.” 17 Kyoṅki maiṅ laṛkhaṛāne ko hūṅ, merī aziyat mutawātir mere sāmne rahtī hai. 18 Chunāṅche maiṅ apnā qusūr taslīm kartā hūṅ, maiṅ apne gunāh ke bāis ġhamgīn hūṅ. 19 Mere dushman zindā aur tāqatwar haiṅ, aur jo bilāwajah mujh se nafrat karte haiṅ wuh bahut haiṅ. 20 Wuh nekī ke badle badī karte haiṅ. Wuh is lie mere dushman haiṅ ki maiṅ bhalāī ke pīchhe lagā rahtā hūṅ. 21 Ai Rab, mujhe tark na kar! Ai Allāh, mujh se dūr na rah! 22 Ai Rab merī najāt, merī madad karne meṅ jaldī kar!
