1 Giô-tham được hai mươi lăm tuổi khi lên ngôi, và trị vì mười sáu năm tại Giê-ru-sa-lem. Mẹ vua là Giê-ru-sa, con Xa-đốc. 2 Giô-tham làm điều thiện trước mặt Chúa Hằng Hữu. A-cha, con Giô-tham lên ngôi kế vị.
