Psalms 94 (ELBE)
1 Gott der Rache, HERR, Gott der Rache, strahle hervor! 2 Erhebe dich, Richter der Erde, vergilt den Stolzen ihr Tun! 3 Bis wann werden die Gottlosen, HERR, bis wann werden die Gottlosen frohlocken, 4 werden übersprudeln, Freches reden, sich rühmen alle, die Frevel tun? 5 Dein Volk, HERR, zertreten und dein Erbteil bedrücken sie. 6 Sie töten die Witwe und den Fremden, und sie ermorden die Waisen 7 und sagen: Jah sieht es nicht, und der Gott Jakobs merkt es nicht. 8 Habt Einsicht, ihr Unvernünftigen unter dem Volk! Und ihr Toren, wann werdet ihr verständig werden? 9 Der das Ohr gepflanzt hat, sollte er nicht hören? Der das Auge gebildet hat, sollte er nicht sehen? 10 Der die Nationen zurechtweist, sollte er nicht strafen, er, der Erkenntnis lehrt den Menschen? 11 Der HERR kennt die Gedanken des Menschen, dass sie Eitelkeit sind. 12 Glückselig der Mann, den du züchtigst, HERR, und den du belehrst aus deinem Gesetz, 13 um ihm Ruhe zu geben vor den bösen Tagen, bis dem Gottlosen die Grube gegraben wird! 14 Denn der HERR wird sein Volk nicht verstoßen, und nicht verlassen sein Erbteil; 15 denn zur Gerechtigkeit wird zurückkehren das Gericht, und alle von Herzen Aufrichtigen werden ihm folgen. 16 Wer wird für mich aufstehen gegen die Übeltäter? Wer wird für mich auftreten gegen die, die Frevel tun? 17 Wäre nicht der HERR mir eine Hilfe gewesen, wenig fehlte, so hätte im Schweigen gewohnt meine Seele. 18 Wenn ich sagte: Mein Fuß wankt, so unterstützte mich deine Güte, HERR. 19 Bei der Menge meiner Gedanken in meinem Innern erfüllten deine Tröstungen meine Seele mit Wonne. 20 Sollte mit dir vereint sein der Thron des Verderbens, der aus Frevel eine Satzung macht? 21 Sie dringen ein auf die Seele des Gerechten, und unschuldiges Blut verurteilen sie. 22 Doch der HERR ist meine hohe Festung, und mein Gott der Fels meiner Zuflucht. 23 Und er lässt ihre Ungerechtigkeit auf sie zurückkehren, und durch ihre Bosheit wird er sie vertilgen; vertilgen wird sie der HERR, unser Gott.
