Zaburi. 1 Mpigieni Mungu kelele za shangwe, dunia yote! 2 Imbeni utukufu wa jina lake;mpeni sifa zake kwa utukufu! 3 Mwambieni Mungu, “Jinsi gani yalivyo ya kutisha matendo yako!Uwezo wako ni mkuu mno kiasi kwambaadui wananyenyekea mbele zako. 4 Dunia yote yakusujudia,wanakuimbia wewe sifa,wanaliimbia sifa jina lako.” 5 Njooni mwone yale Mungu aliyoyatenda,mambo ya kutisha aliyoyatendamiongoni mwa wanadamu! 6 Alifanya bahari kuwa nchi kavu,wakapita kati ya maji kwa miguu,njooni, tumshangilie. 7 Yeye hutawala kwa uwezo wake milele,macho yake huangalia mataifa yote:waasi wasithubutu kujiinua dhidi yake. 8 Enyi mataifa, msifuni Mungu wetu,sauti ya sifa yake isikike, 9 ameyahifadhi maisha yetuna kuizuia miguu yetu kuteleza. 10 Ee Mungu, wewe ulitujaribu,ukatusafisha kama fedha. 11 Umetuingiza kwenye nyavuna umetubebesha mizigo mizitomigongoni mwetu. 12 Uliwaruhusu watu watukalie vichwani,tulipita kwenye moto na kwenye maji,lakini ulituleta kwenye nchiiliyojaa utajiri tele. 13 Nitakuja hekaluni mwako na sadaka za kuteketezwana kukutimizia nadhiri zangu: 14 nadhiri ambazo midomo yangu iliahidina nilizotamka kwa kinywa changunilipokuwa katika shida. 15 Nitakutolea dhabihu za wanyama wanonona sadaka za kondoo dume,nitakutolea mafahali na mbuzi. 16 Njooni msikilize ninyi nyote mnaomcha Mungu,nami niwaambie aliyonitendea. 17 Nilimlilia kwa kinywa changu,sifa zake zilikuwa katika ulimi wangu. 18 Kama ningekuwa nimeyaficha maovu moyoni mwangu,Bwana asingekuwa amenisikiliza; 19 lakini hakika Mungu amenisikilizana amesikia sauti yangu katika maombi. 20 Sifa apewe Mungu,ambaye hakulikataa ombi languwala kunizuilia upendo wake!
