1 Miingon ako sa akong kaugalingon,“Bantayan ko gayod ang akong mga lihok,ug likayan ko nga makasala pinaagi sa akong sinultihan.Pugngan ko gayod ang akong baba samtang anaa sa akong duol ang daotang mga tawo.” 2 Busa nagpakahilom lang ako; wala gayod ako mosulti.Apan wala kini makatabang kanako,kay misamot pa hinuon ang kasakit nga akong gibati. 3 Nabalaka gayod ako pag-ayo.Ug sa pagsige ko ug hunahuna misamot pa gayod hinuon ang akong kabalaka. Busa miingon ako, 4 “GINOO, pahimangnoi ako nga adunay kataposan ang akong kinabuhi ug inihap na ang akong mga adlaw.Pahimangnoi ako nga lumalabay lang ang akong kinabuhi.” 5 Pagkamubo sa kinabuhi nga gihatag mo kanako.Bale-wala lang kini sa imong panan-aw.Sa pagkatinuod, ang kinabuhi sa tawo sama sa hangin nga molabay lang, 6 o sama sa anino nga mawala.Nagkapuliki ang tawo sa mga buluhaton nga walay kapuslanan.Nagatigom siyag bahandi apan wala siya masayod kon kinsay makapahimulos niini kon mamatay na siya. 7 Karon, GINOO, wala na akoy laing saligan pa.Ang akong pagsalig anaa lamang kanimo. 8 Luwasa ako sa tanan kong mga sala,ug ayaw itugot nga biay-biayon ako sa mga buang-buang. 9 Magpakahilom na lang ako; dili ako moreklamo kay imo kining pagbuot. 10 Ayaw na ako siloti.Mora na akog mamatay sa imong pagpaantos kanako. 11 Gibadlong mo ang tawo pinaagi sa pagsilot kaniya sa iyang mga sala.Ug sama sa gagmayng mananap nga gapangutkot, inanay mong gihurot ang mga butang nga mahinungdanon alang kaniya.Tinuod gayod nga ang kinabuhi sa tawo lumalabay lang sama sa hangin. 12 Tubaga ang akong pag-ampo, GINOO;pamatia ang akong pagpangayo ug tabang.Ayaw pagpakabungol sa akong paghilak.Kay usa lang ako ka dumuduong,usa ka estranghero nga molabay ra sama sa tanan kong mga katigulangan. 13 Ayaw na kasuko kanako,aron magmalipayon usab ako sa dili pa ako mamatay.
