Zechariah 12 (LBA)
1 Sentence, parole de l'Eternel sur Israël. Ainsi parle l'Eternel qui a étendu les cieux et fondé la terre et formé l'esprit de l'homme au-dedans de lui. 2 Voici, je ferai de Jérusalem un seuil d'ébranlement pour tous les peuples d'alentour, et cela concernera aussi Juda quand on assiégera Jérusalem. 3 En ce jour-là, je ferai de Jérusalem une pierre à soulever pour tous les peuples ; quiconque la soulèvera en sera tout meurtri, et toutes les nations de la terre s'assembleront contre elle. 4 En ce jour-là, dit l'Eternel, je frapperai d'épouvante tous les chevaux et de délire ceux qui les montent. J'aurai l'œil ouvert sur la maison de Juda, mais tous les chevaux des nations, je les frapperai de cécité. 5 Et les chefs de Juda diront dans leur cœur : Les habitants de Jérusalem sont une force pour moi, par l'Eternel des armées, leur Dieu. 6 En ce jour-là, je ferai des chefs de Juda comme un brasier ardent dans du bois, comme une torche enflammée dans une gerbe, et ils dévoreront à droite et à gauche tous les peuples d'alentour, et Jérusalem restera encore à sa place à Jérusalem. 7 Et l'Eternel sauvera les tentes de Juda en premier lieu, afin que l'orgueil de la maison de David et l'orgueil des habitants de Jérusalem ne s'élève pas au-dessus de Juda. 8 En ce jour-là, l'Eternel entourera de sa protection les habitants de Jérusalem, et celui qui chancelle sera en ce jour-là comme David, et la maison de David sera comme Dieu, comme l'ancre de l'Eternel devant eux. 9 Et il arrivera en ce jour-là que je m'appliquerai à détruire tous les peuples qui seront venus contre Jérusalem ; 10 et je répandrai sur la maison de David et sur les habitants de Jérusalem un esprit de grâce et de supplication, et ils regarderont à moi, qu'ils ont percé. Ils mèneront deuil sur lui comme on mène deuil sur un fils unique ; ils pleureront amèrement sur lui, amèrement comme sur un fils premier-né. 11 En ce jour-là, le deuil sera grand à Jérusalem, comme le deuil d'Hadadrimmon dans la vallée de Méguiddo. 12 Et le pays sera dans le deuil, chaque famille à part ; la famille de la maison de David à part et ses femmes à part ; la famille de la maison de Nathan à part et ses femmes à part ; 13 la famille de la maison de Lévi à part et ses femmes à part ; la famille de Siméi à part et ses femmes à part ; 14 toutes les autres familles, chacune à part et ses femmes à part.
