1 Dāūd kā zabūr. Mausīqī ke rāhnumā ke lie.Ai Allāh, sun jab maiṅ apnī āh-o-zārī pesh kartā hūṅ. Merī zindagī dushman kī dahshat se mahfūz rakh. 2 Mujhe badmāshoṅ kī sāzishoṅ se chhupāe rakh, un kī halchal se jo ġhalat kām karte haiṅ. 3 Wuh apnī zabān ko talwār kī tarah tez karte aur apne zahrīle alfāz ko tīroṅ kī tarah taiyār rakhte haiṅ 4 tāki tāk meṅ baiṭh kar unheṅ bequsūr par chalāeṅ. Wuh achānak aur bebākī se unheṅ us par barsā dete haiṅ. 5 Wuh burā kām karne meṅ ek dūsre kī hauslā-afzāī karte, ek dūsre se mashwarā lete haiṅ ki ham apne phande kis tarah chhupā kar lagāeṅ? Wuh kahte haiṅ, “Yih kisī ko bhī nazar nahīṅ āeṅge.” 6 Wuh baṛī bārīkī se bure mansūboṅ kī taiyāriyāṅ karte, phir kahte haiṅ, “Chalo, bāt ban gaī hai, mansūbā soch-bichār ke bād taiyār huā hai.” Yaqīnan insān ke bātin aur dil kī tah tak pahuṅchnā mushkil hī hai. 7 Lekin Allāh un par tīr barsāegā, aur achānak hī wuh zaḳhmī ho jāeṅge. 8 Wuh apnī hī zabān se ṭhokar khā kar gir jāeṅge. Jo bhī unheṅ dekhegā wuh “Taubā taubā” kahegā. 9 Tab tamām log ḳhauf khā kar kaheṅge, “Allāh hī ne yih kiyā!” Unheṅ samajh āegī ki yih usī kā kām hai. 10 Rāstbāz Allāh kī ḳhushī manā kar us meṅ panāh legā, aur jo dil se diyānatdār haiṅ wuh sab faḳhr kareṅge.
