1 Samuel 24 (BOSCB)

Ngaatsvake mhaka yangu aiwane; ngaandiruramisire nokundirwira kubva muruoko rwenyu.” 16 Dhavhidhi akati apedza kutaura mashoko aya, Sauro akabvunza akati, “Inzwi rako here, Dhavhidhi mwanakomana wangu?” Ipapo akachema kwazvo. 17 Akati, “Iwe wakarurama kupfuureni. Jehovha ngaakuripire zvakanaka nokuda kwezvawakandiitira. 20 Ndinoziva zvirokwazvo kuti iwe uchava mambo uye umambo hweIsraeri huchasimbiswa mumaoko ako. 21 Zvino pika kwandiri naJehovha kuti iwe hauchazoparadzi zvizvarwa zvangu kana kuparadza zita rangu kubva pamhuri yababa vangu.” 22 Saka Dhavhidhi akapika kuna Sauro.
