1 Ai Rab, tū itnā dūr kyoṅ khaṛā hai? Musībat ke waqt tū apne āp ko poshīdā kyoṅ rakhtā hai? 2 Bedīn takabbur se musībatzadoṅ ke pīchhe lag gae haiṅ, aur ab bechāre un ke jāloṅ meṅ ulajhne lage haiṅ. 3 Kyoṅki bedīn apnī dilī ārzuoṅ par sheḳhī mārtā hai, aur nājāyz nafā kamāne wālā lānat karke Rab ko haqīr jāntā hai. 4 Bedīn ġhurūr se phūl kar kahtā hai, “Allāh mujh se jawābtalabī nahīṅ karegā.” Us ke tamām ḳhayālāt is bāt par mabnī haiṅ ki koī Ḳhudā nahīṅ hai. 5 Jo kuchh bhī kare us meṅ wuh kāmyāb hai. Terī adālateṅ use bulandiyoṅ meṅ kahīṅ dūr lagtī haiṅ jabki wuh apne tamām muḳhālifoṅ ke ḳhilāf phunkārtā hai. 6 Dil meṅ wuh sochtā hai, “Maiṅ kabhī nahīṅ ḍagmagāūṅgā, nasl-dar-nasl musībat ke panjoṅ se bachā rahūṅgā.” 7 Us kā muṅh lānatoṅ, fareb aur zulm se bharā rahtā, us kī zabān nuqsān aur āfat pahuṅchāne ke lie taiyār rahtī hai. 8 Wuh ābādiyoṅ ke qarīb tāk meṅ baiṭh kar chupke se begunāhoṅ ko mār ḍāltā hai, us kī āṅkheṅ badqismatoṅ kī ghāt meṅ rahtī haiṅ. 9 Jangal meṅ baiṭhe sherbabar kī tarah tāk meṅ rah kar wuh musībatzadā par hamlā karne kā mauqā ḍhūṅḍtā hai. Jab use pakaṛ le to use apne jāl meṅ ghasīṭ kar le jātā hai. 10 Us ke shikār pāsh pāsh ho kar jhuk jāte haiṅ, bechāre us kī zabardast tāqat kī zad meṅ ā kar gir jāte haiṅ. 11 Tab wuh dil meṅ kahtā hai, “Allāh bhūl gayā hai, us ne apnā chehrā chhupā liyā hai, use yih kabhī nazar nahīṅ āegā.” 12 Ai Rab, uṭh. Ai Allāh, apnā hāth uṭhā kar nāchāroṅ kī madad kar aur unheṅ na bhūl. 13 Bedīn Allāh kī tahqīr kyoṅ kare, wuh dil meṅ kyoṅ kahe, “Allāh mujh se jawāb talab nahīṅ karegā”? 14 Ai Allāh, haqīqat meṅ tū yih sab kuchh deḳhtā hai. Tū hamārī taklīf aur pareshānī par dhyān de kar munāsib jawāb degā. Nāchār apnā muāmalā tujh par chhoṛ detā hai, kyoṅki tū yatīmoṅ kā madadgār hai. 15 Sharīr aur bedīn ādmī kā bāzū toṛ de! Us se us kī sharāratoṅ kī jawābtalabī kar tāki us kā pūrā asar miṭ jāe. 16 Rab abad tak Bādshāh hai. Us ke mulk se dīgar aqwām ġhāyb ho gaī haiṅ. 17 Ai Rab, tū ne nāchāroṅ kī ārzū sun lī hai. Tū un ke diloṅ ko mazbūt karegā aur un par dhyān de kar 18 yatīmoṅ aur mazlūmoṅ kā insāf karegā tāki āindā koī bhī insān mulk meṅ dahshat na phailāe.
