Hosea 14 (BOVCB)
1 Hỡi Ít-ra-ên, hãy quay về với Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời các ngươi,vì tội lỗi các ngươi đã làm các ngươi vấp ngã. 2 Hãy lấy lời cầu khẩn mà trở lại với Chúa Hằng Hữu.Hãy thưa với Ngài:“Xin tha thứ tất cả tội ác chúng con và nhận chúng con với lòng nhân từ,chúng con sẽ dâng tế lễ ca ngợi Ngài. 3 A-sy-ri không thể cứu chúng con,hay chúng con không cỡi ngựa chiến nữa.Không bao giờ chúng con còn gọi các tượng do mình tạo ra rằng:‘Đây là thần của chúng tôi.’Không, vì chỉ trong Chúa,người mồ côi mới được thương xót.” 4 Chúa Hằng Hữu phán:“Ta sẽ chữa lành bệnh bất trung của con;tình yêu của Ta thật vô hạn,vì cơn giận Ta sẽ ra đi mãi mãi. 5 Ta sẽ đối với Ít-ra-ênnhư sương móc tưới nhuần từ trời.Ít-ra-ên sẽ nở rộ như hoa huệ;rễ sẽ đâm sâu trong đấtnhư cây tùng trong Li-ban. 6 Các cành con sẽ vươn ra xa như cây ô-liu tươi tốt,và thơm ngát như cây tùng của Li-ban. 7 Dân Ta sẽ một lần nữa sống dưới bóng Ta.Họ sẽ được tưới nhuần như cây lúa và trổ hoa như cây nho.Họ sẽ tỏa hương thơm ngào ngạt như rượu Li-ban. 8 Hỡi Ép-ra-im, hãy tránh xa các thần tượng!Chính Ta là Đấng đáp lời cầu nguyện của con và chăm sóc con.Ta như cây bách luôn xanh tươi;nhờ Ta mà con sẽ sinh ra nhiều bông trái.” 9 Hãy để những người khôn ngoan tìm hiểu những điều này.Hãy để họ sáng suốt nhận thức cẩn thận.Vì đường lối của Chúa Hằng Hữu là chân thật và đúng đắn,những người công chính sẽ bước đi trong đó.Nhưng trong con đường ấy tội nhân lại vấp ngã.
