1 Busa naghunahuna ako nga dili na lang ako moanha diha kaninyo kon masakit ko lang pag-usab ang inyong pagbati. 2 Kay kon masakit ko kamo, kinsa na man lang unya ang makalipay kanako? Wala na! 3 Mao kana ang hinungdan kon nganong nagsulat una ako kaninyo, aron nga kon moanha ako diha, dili ako mapaguol sa mga tawo nga mao unta ang makalipay kanako. Kay kon may nakasala kanako gipasaylo ko na siya sa atubangan ni Cristo alang kaninyo. 11 Angay nato kining buhaton aron dili kita madaog ni Satanas, kay nasayran nato kon unsa ang iyang mga pamaagi. 12 Pag-abot ko didto sa Troas aron magwali sa Maayong Balita mahitungod kang Cristo, nakita ko nga giandam nang daan sa Ginoo ang ilang mga kasingkasing sa pagpaminaw kanako. 13 Apan wala ako mahimutang kay wala didto si Tito nga atong igsoon kang Cristo. Busa nanamilit ako sa mga tumutuo ug miadto sa Macedonia. 14 Salamat sa Dios kay kanunay siya nga nagauna kanato sa parada sa pagdaog. Gibuhat niya kini tungod kay anaa na kita kang Cristo. Sama sa pahumot gigamit niya kami sa pagpaila kaniya sa bisan asang lugar. 15 Kay sama kami sa mahumot nga halad ni Cristo ngadto sa Dios nga mapanimahoan sa mga tawo nga nangaluwas ug bisan sa mga nangawala. 16 Sa mga tawo nga nangawala, ang among gipakaylap nga kamatuoran sama sa baho sa patay nga nagadala ug kamatayon; apan sa mga tawo nga nangaluwas, sama kini sa pahumot sa mga buhi nga nagadala ug kinabuhi.
