undefined Salmo de Asafe 1 De fato, Deus é bompara com Israel,para com os de coração limpo. 2 Quanto a mim, porém,quase me resvalaram os pés;pouco faltou para quese desviassem os meus passos. 3 Pois eu invejava os arrogantes,ao ver a prosperidade dos maus. 4 Para eles não há preocupações,o seu corpo é forte e sadio. 5 Não partilhamdas canseiras dos mortais,nem são afligidoscomo os outros. 6 Por isso, a soberba os cingecomo um colar,e a violência os envolvecomo um manto. 7 Os olhos saltam-lhesde tanta gordura;do coração deles brotam fantasias. 8 Zombam e falam com maldade;falam da opressão com arrogância. 9 Abrem a boca para falarcontra os céus,e a língua deles percorre a terra. 10 Por isso, o seu povose volta para elese os tem por fonteda qual bebe com avidez. 11 Eles dizem:“Como Deus ficará sabendo?Por acaso o Altíssimotem algum conhecimento?” 12 Eis que estes são os ímpios;e, sempre tranquilos,aumentam as suas riquezas. 13 Com certeza foi inútilconservar puro o meu coraçãoe lavar as minhas mãosna inocência. 14 Pois o dia inteiro sou afligidoe cada manhã sou castigado. 15 Se eu tivesse pensadoem falar tais palavras,já aí teria traído a geraçãode teus filhos, ó Deus. 16 Em só refletirpara compreender isso,achei que a tarefa erapesada demais para mim; 17 até que entreino santuário de Deuse descobri qual seria o fim deles. 18 Tu certamente os põesem lugares escorregadiose os fazes cair na destruição. 19 Como são destruídosnum instante!São totalmente aniquiladosde terror! 20 Como acontece com o sonho,quando alguém acorda,assim, ó Senhor, ao despertares,desprezarás a imagem deles. 21 Quando o meu coraçãoestava cheio de amargurae o meu íntimo se comoveu, 22 eu estava embrutecidoe sem entendimento;era como um animal diante de ti. 23 No entanto,estou sempre contigo,tu me seguraspela minha mão direita. 24 Tu me guias com o teu conselhoe depois me recebes na glória. 25 Quem tenho eu no céualém de ti?E quem poderia eu quererna terra além de ti? 26 Ainda que a minha carnee o meu coração desfaleçam,Deus é a fortaleza do meu coraçãoe a minha herança para sempre. 27 Os que se afastam de ticertamente perecerão;tu destróis todos os que são infiéispara contigo. 28 Quanto a mim,bom é estar perto de Deus;faço do SENHOR Deus o meu refúgio,para proclamar todas as suas obras.
