1 Isrāīl hawā charne kī koshish kar rahā hai, pūrā din wuh mashriqī lū ke pīchhe bhāgtā rahtā hai. Us ke jhūṭ aur zulm meṅ izāfā hotā jā rahā hai. Asūr se ahd bāndhne ke sāth sāth wuh Misr ko bhī zaitūn kā tel bhej detā hai. 2 Rab adālat meṅ Yahūdāh se bhī laṛegā. Wuh Yāqūb ko us ke chāl-chalan kī sazā, us ke āmāl kā munāsib ajr degā. 3 Kyoṅki māṅ ke peṭ meṅ hī us ne apne bhāī kī eṛī pakaṛ kar use dhokā diyā. Jab bāliġh huā to Allāh se laṛā 4 balki farishte se laṛte laṛte us par ġhālib āyā. Phir us ne rote rote us se iltijā kī ki mujh par rahm kar. Bād meṅ Yāqūb ne Allāh ko Baitel meṅ pāyā, aur wahāṅ Ḳhudā us se hamkalām huā. 5 Rab jo lashkaroṅ kā Ḳhudā hai aur jis kā nām Rab hī hai, us ne farmāyā, 6 “Apne Ḳhudā ke pās wāpas ā kar rahm aur insāf qāym rakh! Kabhī apne Ḳhudā par ummīd rakhne se bāz na ā.” 7 Isrāīl tājir hai jis ke hāth meṅ ġhalat tarāzū hai aur jise logoṅ se nājāyz fāydā uṭhāne kā baṛā shauq hai. 8 Wuh kahtā hai, “Maiṅ amīr ho gayā hūṅ, maiṅ ne kasrat kī daulat pāī hai. Koī sābit nahīṅ kar sakegā ki mujh se yih tamām milkiyat hāsil karne meṅ koī qusūr yā gunāh sarzad huā hai.” 9 “Lekin maiṅ, Rab jo Misr se tujhe nikālte waqt āj tak terā Ḳhudā hūṅ maiṅ yih nazarandāz nahīṅ karūṅga. Maiṅ tujhe dubārā ḳhaimoṅ meṅ basne dūṅgā. Yoṅ hogā jis tarah un pahle dinoṅ meṅ huā jab Isrāīlī merī parastish karne ke lie registān meṅ jamā hote the. 10 Maiṅ bār bār nabiyoṅ kī mārifat tum se hamkalām huā, maiṅ ne unheṅ muta'addid royāeṅ dikhāīṅ aur un ke zariye tumheṅ tamsīleṅ sunāīṅ.” 11 Kyā Jiliyād bedīn hai? Us ke log nākārā hī haiṅ! Jiljāl meṅ logoṅ ne sānḍ qurbān kie haiṅ, is lie un kī qurbāngāheṅ malbe ke ḍher ban jāeṅgī. Ab unheṅ un kī qatl-o-ġhārat kā ajr bhugatnā paṛegā. Unhoṅ ne apne āqā kī tauhīn kī hai, aur ab wuh unheṅ munāsib sazā degā.
