1 May gitakda nga panahon alang sa matag buluhaton dinhi sa kalibotan: 2 May panahon sa pagkatawo ug may panahon sa pagkamatay,may panahon sa pagtanom ug may panahon sa pag-ani, 3 may panahon sa pagpatay ug may panahon sa pagtambal,may panahon sa pagguba ug may panahon sa pagtukod, 4 may panahon sa paghilak ug may panahon sa pagkatawa,may panahon sa pagsubo ug may panahon sa pagmaya, 5 may panahon sa pagkatag sa mga bato ug may panahon sa pagtigom niini,may panahon sa paggaksanay ug may panahon sa pagbulagay, 6 may panahon sa pagpangita ug may panahon sa pag-undang sa pagpangita,may panahon sa pagtipig ug may panahon sa paglabay, 7 may panahon sa paggisi ug may panahon sa pagtahi,may panahon sa paghilom ug may panahon sa pagsulti, 8 may panahon sa paghigugma ug may panahon sa pagkasilag,may panahon sa kagubot ug may panahon sa kalinaw. 9 Kon kining mga panahona gitakda na sa Dios, unsa may kapuslanan sa paghago sa tawo? 10 Nakita ko ang mga buluhaton nga gihatag sa Dios nga kabalak-an sa tawo, 11 ug kining tanan gitakda sa Dios nga mahitabo sa husto nga panahon. Gihatagan niya kita ug tinguha nga masayod sa umaabot, apan dili gayod nato matugkad ang iyang gipanghimo gikan sa sinugdanan hangtod sa kataposan. 12 Nasayod ako nga ang labing maayong buhaton sa tawo samtang buhi pa siya mao ang paglipay, ang pagpaharuhay, 13 ang pagkaon ug pag-inom, ug magpahimulos sa ilang hinagoan kay kining mga butanga grasya sa Dios. 14 Nasayod ako nga ang tanang ginahimo sa Dios magapadayon hangtod sa kahangtoran, ug dili kini madugangan o makuhaan. Gihimo kini sa Dios aron nga motahod ang tawo kaniya. 15 Ang nagakahitabo karon ug ang mahitabo sa umaabot nahitabo na kaniadto. Ginabalik-balik lang sa Dios ang mga panghitabo. 16 Nakita ko usab dinhi sa kalibotan nga nagahari ang kadaotan imbis nga ang hustisya ug pagkamatarong. 17 Miingon ako sa akong kaugalingon, “Hukman sa Dios ang mga tawong matarong ug ang mga daotan, kay may gitakda siya nga panahon sa matag buluhaton.” 18 Ginasulayan sa Dios ang mga tawo aron ipakita kanila nga sama ra sila sa mananap. 19 Managsama ang dangatan sa tawo ug sa mananap; managsama silang mamatay. Managsama usab silang may gininhawa, busa ang tawo wala makabintaha sa mananap. Tinuod gayod nga ang tanan walay kapuslanan. 20 Managsama ang padulngan sa tanang buhing binuhat. Silang tanan gikan sa yuta, ug sa yuta usab sila mobalik. 21 Kinsay nasayod kon ang espiritu sa tawo moadto sa itaas ug ang espiritu sa mananap moadto sa ilalom sa yuta? 22 Busa nasuta ko nga ang labing maayong himuon sa tawo mao ang pagpahimulos sa iyang hinagoan, kay alang gayod kana kaniya. Walay makasugilon sa tawo kon unsa ang mahitabo human siya mamatay.
