1 මර්ත්‍යස්වර්ගීයාණාං භාෂා භාෂමාණෝ(අ)හං යදි ප්‍රේමහීනෝ භවේයං තර්හි වාදකතාලස්වරූපෝ නිනාදකාරිභේරීස්වරූපශ්ච භවාමි| 2 අපරඤ්ච යද්‍යහම් ඊශ්වරීයාදේශාඪ්‍යඃ ස්‍යාං සර්ව්වාණි ගුප්තවාක්‍යානි සර්ව්වවිද්‍යාඤ්ච ජානීයාං පූර්ණවිශ්වාසඃ සන් ශෛලාන් ස්ථානාන්තරීකර්ත්තුං ශක්නුයාඤ්ච කින්තු යදි ප්‍රේමහීනෝ භවේයං තර්හ්‍යගණනීය ඒව භවාමි| 3 අපරං යද්‍යහම් අන්නදානේන සර්ව්වස්වං ත්‍යජේයං දාහනාය ස්වශරීරං සමර්පයේයඤ්ච කින්තු යදි ප්‍රේමහීනෝ භවේයං තර්හි තත්සර්ව්වං මදර්ථං නිෂ්ඵලං භවති| 4 ප්‍රේම චිරසහිෂ්ණු හිතෛෂි ච, ප්‍රේම නිර්ද්වේෂම් අශඨං නිර්ගර්ව්වඤ්ච| 5 අපරං තත් කුත්සිතං නාචරති, ආත්මචේෂ්ටාං න කුරුතේ සහසා න ක්‍රුධ්‍යති පරානිෂ්ටං න චින්තයති, 6 අධර්ම්මේ න තුෂ්‍යති සත්‍ය ඒව සන්තුෂ්‍යති| 7 තත් සර්ව්වං තිතික්‍ෂතේ සර්ව්වත්‍ර විශ්වසිති සර්ව්වත්‍ර භද්‍රං ප්‍රතීක්‍ෂතේ සර්ව්වං සහතේ ච| 8 ප්‍රේම්නෝ ලෝපඃ කදාපි න භවිෂ්‍යති, ඊශ්වරීයාදේශකථනං ලෝප්ස්‍යතේ පරභාෂාභාෂණං නිවර්ත්තිෂ්‍යතේ ඥානමපි ලෝපං යාස්‍යති| 9 යතෝ(අ)ස්මාකං ඥානං ඛණ්ඩමාත්‍රම් ඊශ්වරීයාදේශකථනමපි ඛණ්ඩමාත්‍රං| 10 කින්ත්වස්මාසු සිද්ධතාං ගතේෂු තානි ඛණ්ඩමාත්‍රාණි ලෝපං යාස්‍යන්තේ| 11 බාල්‍යකාලේ(අ)හං බාල ඉවාභාෂේ බාල ඉවාචින්තයඤ්ච කින්තු යෞවනේ ජාතේ තත්සර්ව්වං බාල්‍යාචරණං පරිත්‍යක්තවාන්| 12 ඉදානීම් අභ්‍රමධ්‍යේනාස්පෂ්ටං දර්ශනම් අස්මාභි ර්ලභ්‍යතේ කින්තු තදා සාක්‍ෂාත් දර්ශනං ලප්ස්‍යතේ| අධුනා මම ඥානම් අල්පිෂ්ඨං කින්තු තදාහං යථාවගම්‍යස්තථෛවාවගතෝ භවිෂ්‍යාමි| 13 ඉදානීං ප්‍රත්‍යයඃ ප්‍රත්‍යාශා ප්‍රේම ච ත්‍රීණ්‍යේතානි තිෂ්ඨන්ති තේෂාං මධ්‍යේ ච ප්‍රේම ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨං|
