1 Dāūd kā zabūr. Mausīqī ke rāhnumā ke lie.Maiṅ sabar se Rab ke intazār meṅ rahā to wuh merī taraf māyl huā aur madad ke lie merī chīḳhoṅ par tawajjuh dī. 2 Wuh mujhe tabāhī ke gaṛhe se khīṅch lāyā, daldal aur kīchaṛ se nikāl lāyā. Us ne mere pāṅwoṅ ko chaṭān par rakh diyā, aur ab maiṅ mazbūtī se chal-phir saktā hūṅ. 3 Us ne mere muṅh meṅ nayā gīt ḍāl diyā, hamāre Ḳhudā kī hamd-o-sanā kā gīt ubharne diyā. Bahut-se log yih dekheṅge aur ḳhauf khā kar Rab par bharosā rakheṅge. 4 Mubārak hai wuh jo Rab par pūrā bharosā rakhtā hai, jo tang karne wāloṅ aur fareb meṅ uljhe huoṅ kī taraf ruḳh nahīṅ kartā. 5 Ai Rab mere Ḳhudā, bār bār tū ne hameṅ apne mojize dikhāe, jagah bajagah apne mansūbe wujūd meṅ lā kar hamārī madad kī. Tujh jaisā koī nahīṅ hai. Tere azīm kām beshumār haiṅ, maiṅ un kī pūrī fahrist batā bhī nahīṅ saktā. 6 Tū qurbāniyāṅ aur nazareṅ nahīṅ chāhtā thā, lekin tū ne mere kānoṅ ko khol diyā. Tū ne bhasm hone wālī qurbāniyoṅ aur gunāh kī qurbāniyoṅ kā taqāzā na kiyā. 7 Phir maiṅ bol uṭhā, “Maiṅ hāzir hūṅ jis tarah mere bāre meṅ kalām-e-muqaddas meṅ likhā hai. 8 Ai mere Ḳhudā, maiṅ ḳhushī se terī marzī pūrī kartā hūṅ, terī sharīat mere dil meṅ ṭik gaī hai.” 9 Maiṅ ne baṛe ijtimā meṅ rāstī kī ḳhushḳhabrī sunāī hai. Ai Rab, yaqīnan tū jāntā hai ki maiṅ ne apne hoṅṭoṅ ko band na rakhā. 10 Maiṅ ne terī rāstī apne dil meṅ chhupāe na rakhī balki terī wafādārī aur najāt bayān kī. Maiṅ ne baṛe ijtimā meṅ terī shafqat aur sadāqat kī ek bāt bhī poshīdā na rakhī. 11 Ai Rab, tū mujhe apne rahm se mahrūm nahīṅ rakhegā, terī mehrbānī aur wafādārī musalsal merī nigahbānī kareṅgī. 12 Kyoṅki beshumār taklīfoṅ ne mujhe gher rakhā hai, mere gunāhoṅ ne āḳhirkār mujhe ā pakaṛā hai. Ab maiṅ nazar bhī nahīṅ uṭhā saktā. Wuh mere sar ke bāloṅ se zyādā haiṅ, is lie maiṅ himmat hār gayā hūṅ. 13 Ai Rab, mehrbānī karke mujhe bachā! Ai Rab, merī madad karne meṅ jaldī kar! 14 Mere jānī dushman sab sharmindā ho jāeṅ, un kī saḳht ruswāī ho jāe. Jo merī musībat deḳhne se lutf uṭhāte haiṅ wuh pīchhe haṭ jāeṅ, un kā muṅh kālā ho jāe. 15 Jo merī musībat dekh kar qahqahā lagāte haiṅ wuh sharm ke māre tabāh ho jāeṅ. 16 Lekin tere tālib shādmān ho kar terī ḳhushī manāeṅ. Jinheṅ terī najāt pyārī hai wuh hameshā kaheṅ, “Rab azīm hai!” 17 Maiṅ nāchār aur zarūratmand hūṅ, lekin Rab merā ḳhayāl rakhtā hai. Tū hī merā sahārā aur merā najātdahindā hai. Ai mere Ḳhudā, der na kar!
