Leviticus 1 (AS21)
1 O SENHOR chamou Moisés e, da tenda da revelação, disse-lhe: 2 Fala aos israelitas: Quando algum de vós apresentar uma oferta ao SENHOR, deverá ser do gado, isto é, do rebanho bovino e do rebanho ovino e caprino. 3 Se a sua oferta for holocausto do rebanho bovino, oferecerá um macho sem defeito, à entrada da tenda da revelação, para que seja aprovado pelo SENHOR. 4 Porá a mão sobre a cabeça do holocausto, e este será aceito em favor dele, para sua expiação. 5 Depois sacrificará o novilho diante do SENHOR; e os sacerdotes, filhos de Arão, oferecerão o sangue e o aspergirão em redor sobre o altar que está à entrada da tenda da revelação. 6 Então ele tirará o couro do holocausto e o cortará em pedaços. 7 E os filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, acenderão o fogo sobre o altar e arrumarão a lenha sobre ele; 8 também arrumarão os pedaços, a cabeça e a gordura sobre a lenha que está no fogo em cima do altar; 9 mas as vísceras e as pernas serão lavadas com água, e o sacerdote queimará tudo isso sobre o altar como holocausto, oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao SENHOR. 10 Se a sua oferta for holocausto de rebanho ovino e caprino, seja cordeiro ou cabrito, ele oferecerá um macho sem defeito, 11 e o sacrificará no lado norte do altar, diante do SENHOR; e os sacerdotes, filhos de Arão, aspergirão o sangue em redor sobre o altar. 12 Então o cortará em pedaços, juntamente com a cabeça e a gordura; e o sacerdote os arrumará sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar; 13 mas as vísceras e as pernas serão lavadas com água, e o sacerdote oferecerá tudo isso, e o queimará sobre o altar; é um holocausto, oferta queimada de aroma agradável ao SENHOR. 14 Se a sua oferta ao SENHOR for holocausto de aves, então oferecerá rolinhas ou pombinhos. 15 O sacerdote levará a ave ao altar, lhe destroncará a cabeça e a queimará sobre o altar; e deixará o sangue escorrer na parede do altar; 16 e tirará o papo com as penas e o lançará no lado leste do altar, no lugar da cinza; 17 e abrirá a ave junto às asas, mas não a partirá; e o sacerdote a queimará em cima do altar sobre a lenha que está no fogo; é um holocausto, oferta queimada de aroma agradável ao SENHOR.
