1 1. Бо для мяне лішне пісаць да вас адносна служэньня для сьвятых, 2 2. бо я ведаю вашую ахвоту, якой хвалюся вамі перад Македонцамі, што Ахая прыгатаваная з леташняга году; і руплівасьць вашая заахвоціла многіх. 3 3. Братоў жа я паслаў, каб нашая пахвала адносна вас не прынізілася ў гэтым, але каб вы, як я казаў, былі прыгатаваныя, 4 4. каб, калі прыйдуць са мною Македонцы і знойдуць вас непрыгатаванымі, мы не асароміліся, каб не сказаць “вы”, пахваліўшыся з гэткаю пэўнасьцю. 5 5. Дык я палічыў патрэбным папрасіць братоў, каб яны наперад пайшлі да вас і загадзя паклапаціліся, каб абяцанае раней дабраславеньне вашае было падрыхтаванае так, як дабраславеньне, а не як з прымусу. 6 6. Вось жа: хто сее скупа, той скупа і пажне; а хто сее з дабраславеньнем, той з дабраславеньнем і пажне. 7 7. Кожны [няхай робіць] паводле вызначэньня сэрца, не са смуткам або з патрэбы, бо Бог любіць таго, хто з добрай ахвотай дае. 8 8. А Бог магутны памножыць у вас усякую ласку, каб, заўсёды і ў-ва ўсім маючы ўсялякую задаволенасьць, вы былі багатыя на ўсякую добрую справу, 9 9. як напісана: «Раскідаў, раздаў бедным; праведнасьць ягоная застаецца на вякі». 10 10. А Той, Хто дае насеньне сейбіту, дасьць і хлеб дзеля ежы, і памножыць насеньне вашае, і вырасьціць плады праведнасьці вашае, 11 11. каб ва ўсім вы ўзбагаціліся ва ўсякай шчырасьці, якая праз нас робіць падзяку Богу. 12 12. Бо справаваньне служэньня гэтага ня толькі дапаўняе нястачы сьвятых, але і багатае падзякамі да Бога ад многіх, 13 13. якія, выпрабаваўшы служэньне гэтае, славяць Бога за падпарадкаванасьць вызнаванаму вамі Эвангельлю Хрыстоваму і за шчырую супольнасьць з імі і з усімі 14 14. і моляцца за вас, жадаючы [быць] з вамі дзеля бязьмернай ласкі Божае ў вас. 15 15. Падзяка Богу за невымоўны дар Ягоны.
