1 Unya nadungog ko ang Dios nga misulti sa makusog nga tingog, “Dali, kamo nga mga tawo nga magasilot niini nga siyudad sa Jerusalem, ug dad-a ang inyong mga armas.” 2 Unya may nakita akong unom ka tawo nga misulod gikan sa amihan nga pultahan sa templo nga ang matag usa kanila may dalang armas. May kauban silang tawo nga nagsuot ug linen, ug nagtakin kinig sudlanan sa pangsulat. Mitindog sila kilid sa halaran nga bronsi. 3 Ug unya ang gamhanan nga presensya sa Dios sa Israel mipaibabaw gikan sa mga cherubim diin kini nahimutang ug mibalhin sa pultahan sa templo. Unya gitawag sa GINOO ang tawo nga nagsuot ug linen ug nagtakin ug mga himan sa pagsulat, 4 ug giingnan, “Libota ang Jerusalem ug markahi ang agtang niadtong mga nagasubo tungod sa tanang mangil-ad nga mga butang nga ginahimo sulod sa siyudad.” 5 Unya nadungog ko ang Dios nga miingon sa unom ka tawo, “Sunda ninyo siya ngadto sa siyudad ug pamatya ang mga tawo nga walay marka sa agtang. Ayaw gyud sila kaloy-i. 6 Pamatya ninyo ang mga tigulang, mga batan-ong lalaki ug mga babaye nga putli, mga inahan, ug mga kabataan, apan ayaw hilabti ang mga may marka. Pagsugod kamo sa akong templo.” Busa giuna nilag pamatay ang mga tigdumala nga anaa sa atubangan sa templo. 7 Unya miingon ang Dios kanila, “Pasipad-i ninyo ang templo pinaagi sa pagtapok sa mga patay nga lawas didto sa hawanan. Panglakaw na kamo.” Busa nanglakaw sila ug gipamatay ang mga tawo sa tibuok siyudad. 8 Samtang gipamatay nila ang mga tawo, nahibilin ako nga nagainusara. Mihapa ako ug nanawag sa Dios, “O Ginoo nga DIOS, hutdon mo ba ug pagpatay ang mga nahibilin sa Israel tungod sa imo nga kasuko sa Jerusalem?” 9 Mitubag siya kanako, “Labihan na gyud ang sala sa katawhan sa Israel ug Juda. Labihan na ang pinatyanay, ug wala nay hustisya sa siyudad. Nagaingon pa sila, ‘Wala magtan-aw ang GINOO kanato; gisalikway na niya ang Israel.’ 10 Busa dili ko gyud sila kaloy-an, himuon ko hinuon kanila ang ilang gihimo sa uban.” 11 Unya ang tawo nga nagsuot ug linen ug nagtakin sa sudlanan sa pangsulat mibalik ug miingon sa Ginoo, “Natuman ko na ang imo nga gisugo kanako.”
