Salmo de Davi 1 Em ti, SENHOR, me refugio;não seja eu jamais envergonhado;livra-me por tua justiça. 2 Inclina-me os ouvidos,livra-me depressa;sê o meu castelo forte,cidadela fortíssima que me salve. 3 Porque tu és a minha rochae a minha fortaleza;por causa do teu nome,tu me conduzirás e me guiarás. 4 Tira-me do laço que,às escondidas, me armaram,pois tu és a minha fortaleza. 5 Nas tuas mãos entregoo meu espírito;tu me remiste, SENHOR,Deus da verdade. 6 Tu detestasos que adoram ídolos vãos;eu, porém, confio no SENHOR. 7 Eu me alegrareie regozijarei na tua bondade,pois tens visto a minha aflição,conheceste as angústiasde minha alma 8 e não me entregastenas mãos do inimigo;firmaste os meus pésem lugar espaçoso. 9 Compadece-te de mim, SENHOR,porque estou angustiado;de tristeza se consomemos meus olhos,a minha alma e o meu corpo. 10 Gasta-se a minha vidana tristeza,e os meus anos, em gemidos;debilita-se a minha força,por causa da minha iniquidade,e os meus ossos se consomem. 11 Tornei-me objeto de debochepara todos os meus adversários,de espanto para os meus vizinhose de horrorpara os meus conhecidos;os que me veem na ruafogem de mim. 12 Estou esquecidono coração deles, como morto;sou como vaso quebrado. 13 Pois tenho ouvidoa murmuração de muitos,terror por todos os lados;conspirando contra mim,tramam tirar-me a vida. 14 Quanto a mim,confio em ti, SENHOR.Eu disse: “Tu és o meu Deus.” 15 Nas tuas mãosestão os meus dias;livra-me das mãosdos meus inimigose dos meus perseguidores. 16 Faze resplandecer o teu rostosobre o teu servo;salva-me por tua misericórdia. 17 Não seja eu envergonhado, SENHOR,pois te invoquei;envergonhados sejamos perversos,emudecidos na morte. 18 Emudeçam os lábios mentirosos,que falam insolentementecontra o justo,com arrogância e desdém. 19 Como é grande a tua bondade,que reservaste aos que te temem,da qual usas,diante dos filhos dos homens,para com os que em ti se refugiam! 20 No recôndito da tua presença,tu os esconderásdas intrigas humanas,num esconderijo os ocultarásdo conflito de línguas. 21 Bendito seja o SENHOR,que engrandeceua sua misericórdiapara comigo, numa cidade sitiada! 22 Eu disse na minha pressa:“Estou excluído da tua presença.”Mas tu ouvistea voz das minhas súplicas,quando clamei por teu socorro. 23 Amem o SENHOR, todos vocêsque são os seus santos.O SENHOR preserva os fiéis,mas retribui com abundânciaaos soberbos. 24 Sejam fortes,e que se revigore o coraçãode todos vocêsque esperam no SENHOR.
