1 యూయం మమాజ్ఞానతాం క్షణం యావత్ సోఢుమ్ అర్హథ, అతః సా యుష్మాభిః సహ్యతాం| 2 ఈశ్వరే మమాసక్తత్వాద్ అహం యుష్మానధి తపే యస్మాత్ సతీం కన్యామివ యుష్మాన్ ఏకస్మిన్ వరేఽర్థతః ఖ్రీష్టే సమర్పయితుమ్ అహం వాగ్దానమ్ అకార్షం| 3 కిన్తు సర్పేణ స్వఖలతయా యద్వద్ హవా వఞ్చయాఞ్చకే తద్వత్ ఖ్రీష్టం ప్రతి సతీత్వాద్ యుష్మాకం భ్రంశః సమ్భవిష్యతీతి బిభేమి| 4 అస్మాభిరనాఖ్యాపితోఽపరః కశ్చిద్ యీశు ర్యది కేనచిద్ ఆగన్తుకేనాఖ్యాప్యతే యుష్మాభిః ప్రాగలబ్ధ ఆత్మా వా యది లభ్యతే ప్రాగగృహీతః సుసంవాదో వా యది గృహ్యతే తర్హి మన్యే యూయం సమ్యక్ సహిష్యధ్వే| 5 కిన్తు ముఖ్యేభ్యః ప్రేరితేభ్యోఽహం కేనచిత్ ప్రకారేణ న్యూనో నాస్మీతి బుధ్యే| 6 మమ వాక్పటుతాయా న్యూనత్వే సత్యపి జ్ఞానస్య న్యూనత్వం నాస్తి కిన్తు సర్వ్వవిషయే వయం యుష్మద్గోచరే ప్రకాశామహే| 7 యుష్మాకమ్ ఉన్నత్యై మయా నమ్రతాం స్వీకృత్యేశ్వరస్య సుసంవాదో వినా వేతనం యుష్మాకం మధ్యే యద్ అఘోష్యత తేన మయా కిం పాపమ్ అకారి? 8 యుష్మాకం సేవనాయాహమ్ అన్యసమితిభ్యో భృతి గృహ్లన్ ధనమపహృతవాన్, 9 యదా చ యుష్మన్మధ్యేఽవఽర్త్తే తదా మమార్థాభావే జాతే యుష్మాకం కోఽపి మయా న పీడితః; యతో మమ సోఽర్థాభావో మాకిదనియాదేశాద్ ఆగతై భ్రాతృభి న్యవార్య్యత, ఇత్థమహం క్కాపి విషయే యథా యుష్మాసు భారో న భవామి తథా మయాత్మరక్షా కృతా కర్త్తవ్యా చ| 10 ఖ్రీష్టస్య సత్యతా యది మయి తిష్ఠతి తర్హి మమైషా శ్లాఘా నిఖిలాఖాయాదేశే కేనాపి న రోత్స్యతే| 11 ఏతస్య కారణం కిం? యుష్మాసు మమ ప్రేమ నాస్త్యేతత్ కిం తత్కారణం? తద్ ఈశ్వరో వేత్తి| 12 యే ఛిద్రమన్విష్యన్తి తే యత్ కిమపి ఛిద్రం న లభన్తే తదర్థమేవ తత్ కర్మ్మ మయా క్రియతే కారిష్యతే చ తస్మాత్ తే యేన శ్లాఘన్తే తేనాస్మాకం సమానా భవిష్యన్తి| 13 తాదృశా భాక్తప్రేరితాః ప్రవఞ్చకాః కారవో భూత్వా ఖ్రీష్టస్య ప్రేరితానాం వేశం ధారయన్తి| 14 తచ్చాశ్చర్య్యం నహి; యతః స్వయం శయతానపి తేజస్విదూతస్య వేశం ధారయతి, 15 తతస్తస్య పరిచారకా అపి ధర్మ్మపరిచారకాణాం వేశం ధారయన్తీత్యద్భుతం నహి; కిన్తు తేషాం కర్మ్మాణి యాదృశాని ఫలాన్యపి తాదృశాని భవిష్యన్తి| 16 అహం పున ర్వదామి కోఽపి మాం నిర్బ్బోధం న మన్యతాం కిఞ్చ యద్యపి నిర్బ్బోధో భవేయం తథాపి యూయం నిర్బ్బోధమివ మామనుగృహ్య క్షణైకం యావత్ మమాత్మశ్లాఘామ్ అనుజానీత| 17 ఏతస్యాః శ్లాఘాయా నిమిత్తం మయా యత్ కథితవ్యం తత్ ప్రభునాదిష్టేనేవ కథ్యతే తన్నహి కిన్తు నిర్బ్బోధేనేవ| 18 అపరే బహవః శారీరికశ్లాఘాం కుర్వ్వతే తస్మాద్ అహమపి శ్లాఘిష్యే| 19 బుద్ధిమన్తో యూయం సుఖేన నిర్బ్బోధానామ్ ఆచారం సహధ్వే| 20 కోఽపి యది యుష్మాన్ దాసాన్ కరోతి యది వా యుష్మాకం సర్వ్వస్వం గ్రసతి యది వా యుష్మాన్ హరతి యది వాత్మాభిమానీ భవతి యది వా యుష్మాకం కపోలమ్ ఆహన్తి తర్హి తదపి యూయం సహధ్వే| 21 దౌర్బ్బల్యాద్ యుష్మాభిరవమానితా ఇవ వయం భాషామహే, కిన్త్వపరస్య కస్యచిద్ యేన ప్రగల్భతా జాయతే తేన మమాపి ప్రగల్భతా జాయత ఇతి నిర్బ్బోధేనేవ మయా వక్తవ్యం| 22 తే కిమ్ ఇబ్రిలోకాః? అహమపీబ్రీ| తే కిమ్ ఇస్రాయేలీయాః? అహమపీస్రాయేలీయః| తే కిమ్ ఇబ్రాహీమో వంశాః? అహమపీబ్రాహీమో వంశః| 23 తే కిం ఖ్రీష్టస్య పరిచారకాః? అహం తేభ్యోఽపి తస్య మహాపరిచారకః; కిన్తు నిర్బ్బోధ ఇవ భాషే, తేభ్యోఽప్యహం బహుపరిశ్రమే బహుప్రహారే బహువారం కారాయాం బహువారం ప్రాణనాశసంశయే చ పతితవాన్| 24 యిహూదీయైరహం పఞ్చకృత్వ ఊనచత్వారింశత్ప్రహారైరాహతస్త్రిర్వేత్రాఘాతమ్ ఏకకృత్వః ప్రస్తరాఘాతఞ్చ ప్రప్తవాన్| 25 వారత్రయం పోతభఞ్జనేన క్లిష్టోఽహమ్ అగాధసలిలే దినమేకం రాత్రిమేకాఞ్చ యాపితవాన్| 26 బహువారం యాత్రాభి ర్నదీనాం సఙ్కటై ర్దస్యూనాం సఙ్కటైః స్వజాతీయానాం సఙ్కటై ర్భిన్నజాతీయానాం సఙ్కటై ర్నగరస్య సఙ్కటై ర్మరుభూమేః సఙ్కటై సాగరస్య సఙ్కటై ర్భాక్తభ్రాతృణాం సఙ్కటైశ్చ 27 పరిశ్రమక్లేశాభ్యాం వారం వారం జాగరణేన క్షుధాతృష్ణాభ్యాం బహువారం నిరాహారేణ శీతనగ్నతాభ్యాఞ్చాహం కాలం యాపితవాన్| 28 తాదృశం నైమిత్తికం దుఃఖం వినాహం ప్రతిదినమ్ ఆకులో భవామి సర్వ్వాసాం సమితీనాం చిన్తా చ మయి వర్త్తతే| 29 యేనాహం న దుర్బ్బలీభవామి తాదృశం దౌర్బ్బల్యం కః పాప్నోతి? 30 యది మయా శ్లాఘితవ్యం తర్హి స్వదుర్బ్బలతామధి శ్లాఘిష్యే| 31 మయా మృషావాక్యం న కథ్యత ఇతి నిత్యం ప్రశంసనీయోఽస్మాకం ప్రభో ర్యీశుఖ్రీష్టస్య తాత ఈశ్వరో జానాతి| 32 దమ్మేషకనగరేఽరితారాజస్య కార్య్యాధ్యక్షో మాం ధర్త్తుమ్ ఇచ్ఛన్ యదా సైన్యైస్తద్ దమ్మేషకనగరమ్ అరక్షయత్ 33 తదాహం లోకైః పిటకమధ్యే ప్రాచీరగవాక్షేణావరోహితస్తస్య కరాత్ త్రాణం ప్రాపం|
