Diga às pessoas onde elas estão errando, alerte-as e incentive-as. Tenha muita paciência ao ensinar a palavra de Deus. 3 Pois chegará o tempo em que as pessoas não se preocuparão em ouvir os ensinamentos verdadeiros. Pelo contrário, elas irão querer ouvir algo diferente e irão se rodear de mestres que lhes dirão o que elas querem ouvir. 4 Elas irão parar de ouvir a verdade e andarão por aí, sem rumo, seguindo lendas. 5 Você precisa manter o juízo em todas as situações. Suporte todas as dificuldades, faça o trabalho de anunciar o evangelho e cumpra a sua missão. 6 Pois está chegando o momento do meu sacrifício; a hora da minha morte se aproxima. 7 Travei o bom combate, terminei a corrida, mantive a minha fé em Deus. 8 Agora, o prêmio da vitória está reservado para mim.
