1 Oh hijos de Israel, escuchen la palabra que YAVÉ habla contra ustedes, contra toda la familia que saqué de la tierra de Egipto. 2 Entre todas las familias de la tierra, solo los conocí a ustedes. Por tanto, los castigaré por todas sus iniquidades. 3 ¿Andarán dos juntos si no están de acuerdo? 4 ¿Rugirá el león en el bosque si no tiene presa? ¿Rugirá el leoncillo en su guarida si no apresó? 5 ¿Caerá el pájaro al suelo si no hay trampa? ¿Saltará la trampa del suelo sin no atrapó? 6 ¿Se tocará la trompeta en la ciudad sin alborotar al pueblo? ¿Sucederá alguna calamidad en la ciudad si YAVÉ no la envía? 7 Ciertamente ʼAdonay YAVÉ nada hace sin revelar su secreto a sus esclavos profetas. 8 Si el león ruge, ¿quién no temerá?
