1 Nakita ko usab ang mga pagpangdaog-daog dinhi sa kalibotan. Nakita ko ang pagpanghilak sa mga dinaog-daog. Walay milipay ug midasig kanila kay gamhanan man ang nangdaog-daog kanila. 2 Busa nakaingon ako nga mas maayo pa ang mga patay kaysa mga buhi. 3 Apan mas maayo pa gayod ang mga wala pa matawo kay sila wala makakita sa mga kadaotan dinhi sa kalibotan. 4 Nakita ko usab nga ang tawo nagahago ug naningkamot gayod nga molampos kay nasina siya sa iyang isigka-tawo. Wala usab kini kapuslanan; sama ra nga nagagukod siya sa hangin. 5 Ang tawong buang-buang tapolan ug mohatod kini kaniya sa kaalaotan. 6 Mas maayo pa nga makaangkon ug diotay nga may kalinaw, kay sa maghago sa pag-angkon ug daghan apan dili mapuslan. Sama ra nga nagagukod ka sa hangin. 7 May nakita pa akong butang nga walay kapuslanan dinhi sa kalibotan: 8 May usa ka tawo nga nagainusara lang. Wala siyay anak o igsoon, apan wala siyay undang sa pagpaningkamot, ug dili siya kontento sa iyang bahandi. Apan alaot ang nagainusara kon matumba kay walay makatabang kaniya. 11 Ug kon bugnaw ang panahon, mahimong magdulog ang duha aron mainitan. Apan unsaon mo pag-angkon sa kainit kon ikaw rang usa? 12 Sayon pildihon ang tawong mag-inusara, apan kon may kauban siya makasukol sila. Sama ba sa pisi; kon tulo ka doble, lisod kining mabugto. 13 Mas maayo pa ang batan-on nga kabos apan maalamon kaysa tigulang ug buang-buang nga hari nga dili magpatambag. 14 Posible nga ang maong batan-on mahimong hari bisan ug napriso siya, ug mouswag bisan ug natawo siyang kabos. 15 Apan nasuta ko nga bisan ug daghan kaayo ang mga tawo dinhi sa kalibotan nga misunod niadtong batan-on nga mipuli sa hari, 16 ug dili maihap ang mga tawo nga iyang gidumalahan, mahimong dili moangay kaniya ang magsunod nga mga henerasyon. Wala usab kini kapuslanan; sama lang nga nagagukod ka sa hangin.
