Salmo de Davi 1 Ó Deus do meu louvor,não te cales! 2 Pois contra mim se abriramlábios maldosos e fraudulentos;com língua mentirosafalam contra mim. 3 Cercam-me com palavras odiosase me atacam sem motivo. 4 Em paga do meu amor,me hostilizam;eu, porém, oro. 5 Pagaram-me o bem com o mal;o amor, com ódio. 6 Suscita contra ele um ímpio,e que à sua direitaesteja um acusador. 7 Quando o julgarem,que ele seja condenado;e que a oração deleseja tida como pecado. 8 Sejam poucos os seus dias,e outro tome o seu encargo. 9 Fiquem órfãos os seus filhos,e viúva, a sua esposa. 10 Andem errantes os seus filhose mendiguem;e sejam expulsosdas ruínas de suas casas. 11 Que um credor se aposse de tudoo que ele tem;que estranhos saqueiemo fruto do seu trabalho. 12 Ninguém tenhamisericórdia dele,nem haja quem se compadeçados seus filhos órfãos. 13 Desapareça a sua posteridade,e que o seu nome se extingana geração seguinte. 14 Que a iniquidadede seus pais fique vivana memória do SENHOR,e não se apague o pecadode sua mãe. 15 Permaneçamante os olhos do SENHOR,para que faça desaparecerda terra a sua memória. 16 Porque ele não se lembroude usar de misericórdia,mas perseguiu o pobree o necessitado,bem como o quebrantadode coração,para os entregar à morte. 17 Amou a maldição:que ela o apanhe!Não quis a bênção:que ela se afaste dele. 18 Vestiu-se de maldiçãocomo de uma túnica:que ela penetre, como água,no seu interior,e nos seus ossos, como azeite. 19 Seja para elecomo a roupa que o cobree como o cintocom que sempre se cinge. 20 Que esta seja,da parte do SENHOR,a recompensa dos que me acusame dos que falam mal de mim. 21 Mas tu, SENHOR Deus,age por mim,por amor do teu nome;livra-me, porque é boaa tua misericórdia. 22 Porque sou pobre e necessitadoe, dentro de mim,sinto ferido o coração. 23 Vou passando,como a sombra que declina;sou atirado para longe,como um gafanhoto. 24 De tanto jejuar,os meus joelhos vacilam,e o meu corpo definha de magreza. 25 Tornei-me para elesobjeto de zombaria;quando me veem,balançam a cabeça. 26 Socorre-me, SENHOR, meu Deus!Salva-mesegundo a tua misericórdia. 27 Para que saibam que isso vemdas tuas mãos;que tu, SENHOR, o fizeste. 28 Amaldiçoem eles,mas tu, abençoa.Sejam envergonhadosos que se levantam contra mim;alegre-se, porém, o teu servo. 29 Cubram-se de vexameos meus adversários,e a sua própria vergonhaos envolva como um manto. 30 Muitas graças darei ao SENHORcom os meus lábios;eu o louvarei no meio da multidão; 31 porque ele se põeà direita do pobre,para o livrardaqueles que o condenam.
