2 Samuel 16 (UGV3)

1 Dāūd abhī pahāṛ kī choṭī se kuchh āge nikal gayā thā ki Mifībosat kā mulāzim Zībā us se milne āyā. Us ke pās do gadhe the jin par zīneṅ kasī huī thīṅ. Un par 200 roṭiyāṅ, kishmish kī 100 ṭikkiyāṅ, 100 tāzā phal aur mai kī ek mashk ladī huī thī. 2 Bādshāh ne pūchhā, “Āp in chīzoṅ ke sāth kyā karnā chāhte haiṅ?” Zībā ne jawāb diyā, “Gadhe bādshāh ke ḳhāndān ke lie haiṅ, wuh in par baiṭh kar safr kareṅ. Wuh sochtā hai ki āj Isrāīlī mujhe bādshāh banā deṅge, kyoṅki maiṅ Sāūl kā potā hūṅ.” 4 Yih sun kar Dāūd bolā, “Āj hī Mifībosat kī tamām milkiyat āp ke nām muntaqil kī jātī hai!” Zībā ne kahā, “Maiṅ āp ke sāmne apne ghuṭne ṭektā hūṅ. Rab kare ki maiṅ apne āqā aur bādshāh kā manzūr-e-nazar rahūṅ.” 5 Jab Dāūd Bādshāh Bahūrīm ke qarīb pahuṅchā to ek ādmī wahāṅ se nikal kar us par lānateṅ bhejne lagā. Ādmī kā nām Simaī bin Jīrā thā, aur wuh Sāūl kā rishtedār thā. 6 Wuh Dāūd aur us ke afsaroṅ par patthar bhī phaiṅkne lagā, agarche Dāūd ke bāeṅ aur dāeṅ hāth us ke muhāfiz aur behtarīn faujī chal rahe the. 7 Lānat karte karte Simaī chīḳh rahā thā, “Chal, dafā ho jā! Qātil! Badmāsh! 8 Yih terā hī qusūr thā ki Sāūl aur us kā ḳhāndān tabāh hue. Ab Rab tujhe jo Sāūl kī jagah taḳhtnashīn ho gayā hai is kī munāsib sazā de rahā hai. Us ne tere beṭe Abīsalūm ko terī jagah taḳhtnashīn karke tujhe tabāh kar diyā hai. Qātil ko sahīh muāwazā mil gayā hai!” 9 Abīshai bin Zarūyāh bādshāh se kahne lagā, “Yih kaisā murdā kuttā hai jo mere āqā bādshāh par lānat kare? Mujhe ijāzat deṅ, to maiṅ jā kar us kā sar qalam kar dūṅ.” 10 Lekin bādshāh ne use rok diyā, “Merā āp aur āp ke bhāī Yoāb se kyā wāstā? Nahīṅ, use lānat karne deṅ. Ho saktā hai Rab ne use yih karne kā hukm diyā hai. To phir ham kaun haiṅ ki use rokeṅ.” 11 Phir Dāūd tamām afsaroṅ se bhī muḳhātib huā, “Jabki merā apnā beṭā mujhe qatl karne kī koshish kar rahā hai to Sāūl kā yih rishtedār aisā kyoṅ na kare? Ise chhoṛ do, kyoṅki Rab ne ise yih karne kā hukm diyā hai. 12 Shāyad Rab merī musībat kā lihāz karke Simaī kī lānateṅ barkat meṅ badal de.” 13 Dāūd aur us ke logoṅ ne safr jārī rakhā. Simaī qarīb kī pahāṛī ḍhalān par us ke barābar chalte chalte us par lānateṅ bhejtā aur patthar aur miṭṭī ke ḍhele phaiṅktā rahā. 14 Sab thakemānde Dariyā-e-Yardan ko pahuṅch gae. Wahāṅ Dāūd tāzādam ho gayā. 15 Itne meṅ Abīsalūm apne pairokāroṅ ke sāth Yarūshalam meṅ dāḳhil huā thā. Aḳhītufal bhī un ke sāth mil gayā thā. 16 Thoṛī der ke bād Dāūd kā dost Hūsī Arkī Abīsalūm ke darbār meṅ hāzir ho kar pukārā, “Bādshāh zindābād! Bādshāh zindābād!” 17 Yih sun kar Abīsalūm ne us se tanzan kahā, “Yih kaisī wafādārī hai jo āp apne dost Dāūd ko dikhā rahe haiṅ? Āp apne dost ke sāth rawānā kyoṅ na hue?” 18 Hūsī ne jawāb diyā, “Nahīṅ, jis ādmī ko Rab aur tamām Isrāīliyoṅ ne muqarrar kiyā hai, wuhī merā mālik hai, aur usī kī ḳhidmat meṅ maiṅ hāzir rahūṅgā. 19 Dūsre, agar kisī kī ḳhidmat karnī hai to kyā Dāūd ke beṭe kī ḳhidmat karnā munāsib nahīṅ hai? Jis tarah maiṅ āp ke bāp kī ḳhidmat kartā rahā hūṅ usī tarah ab āp kī ḳhidmat karūṅga.” 20 Phir Abīsalūm Aḳhītufal se muḳhātib huā, “Āge kyā karnā chāhie? Mujhe apnā mashwarā pesh kareṅ.” 21 Aḳhītufal ne jawāb diyā, “Āp ke bāp ne apnī kuchh dāshtāoṅ ko mahal saṅbhālne ke lie yahāṅ chhoṛ diyā hai. Un ke sāth hambistar ho jāeṅ. Phir tamām Isrāīl ko mālūm ho jāegā ki āp ne apne bāp kī aisī be'izzatī kī hai ki sulah kā rāstā band ho gayā hai. Yih dekh kar sab jo āp ke sāth haiṅ mazbūt ho jāeṅge.” 22 Abīsalūm mān gayā, aur mahal kī chhat par us ke lie ḳhaimā lagāyā gayā.
