Hebrews 1 (AS21)
1 No passado, por meio dos profetas, Deus falou aos pais muitas vezes e de muitas maneiras; 2 nestes últimos dias, porém, ele nos falou pelo Filho, a quem designou herdeiro de todas as coisas e por meio de quem também fez o universo. 3 Ele é o resplendor da sua glória e a representação exata do seu Ser, sustentando todas as coisas pela palavra do seu poder e tendo feito a purificação dos pecados, assentou-se à direita da Majestade nas alturas, 4 tornando-se superior aos anjos, a ponto de herdar um nome mais excelente do que eles. 5 Pois a qual dos anjos disse alguma vez:Tu és meu Filho, hoje te gerei?E outra vez:Eu lhe serei Pai, e ele me será Filho? 6 E ao introduzir o Primogênito no mundo, outra vez diz:E todos os anjos de Deus o adorem. 7 Sobre os anjos ele diz:De seus anjos ele faz ventos, e de seus ministros, labaredas de fogo. 8 Mas sobre o Filho diz:O teu trono, ó Deus, subsiste pelos séculos dos séculos, e o cetro do teu reino é cetro de equidade. 9 Amaste a justiça e odiaste o pecado; por isso Deus, o teu Deus, te ungiu com óleo de alegria, mais do que a teus companheiros; 10 e também diz:Tu, Senhor, no princípio fundaste a terra, e os céus são obras de tuas mãos; 11 eles serão destruídos, mas tu permaneces; e todos eles envelhecerão como roupa, 12 e como um manto os enrolarás, e como roupa serão mudados; mas tu és o mesmo, e os teus anos não terão fim. 13 Mas a qual dos anjos disse alguma vez:Assenta-te à minha direita até que eu ponha os teus inimigos como estrado de teus pés? 14 Não são todos eles espíritos ministradores, enviados para servir em favor dos que herdarão a salvação?
