1 Hamwande, wanhu wowamuhuwile Yesu viwakalile wokongezeka, kulawilila kulongelela hagati ya Wayahudi wowolonga Chigiliki na waja wolonga Chiyebulaniya. Wanahina wongezeka ng'hani uko Yelusalemu, na wakulu wa nhambiko wengi watogola uhuwilo. 8 Mulungu kamulagusa unovu wake ng'hani Sitefano na kumwing'ha ludabwa, katenda mauzauza makulu na mawewedeko mgati mwa wanhu. 9 Maabaho wanhu wamwenga wowakalile wa sinagogi doditangigwa Mahulu na da Wachilene na da Waisikandaliya na wamwenga wawo wa Chilikiya na Asiya, wasegela wadahe kuibishila na Sitefano. 10 Mbali Muhe Yelile kamwing'ha Sitefano ubala viyakalile kolonga, hawadahile kuihasanya nayo. 11 Ivo wawasongeza wanhu wamwenga walonge, “Chimuhulika Sitefano kolonga mbuli za kuwaliga Musa na Mulungu.” 12 Kwa kutenda ivo, wawakong'hela wanhu na walala na wafundiza Malaglizo. Ivo wamgwila Sitefano na wamgala haulongozi ha ichitala. 13 Maabaho wawagala wakalangama wa uvwizi wowalongile, “Munhu ino haleka kulonga mbuli zihile kwa Ikaye ya Mulungu na Malagilizo ya Mulungu yoyamwing'hile Musa. 14 Chimuhulika kolonga kuwa Yesu ino wa Nazaleti kezabananga Ikaye ya Mulungu na kugalusa vihendo vose vochihokele kulawa kwa Musa!” 15 Wanhu wose wakalile muna ichitala wambunhulila meso Sitefano na wawona kuwa chihanga chake chilinga fana chihanga cha msenga wa kuulanga.
