1 Peter 4 (UGV3)

1 Ab chūṅki Masīh ne jismānī taur par dukh uṭhāyā is lie āp bhī apne āp ko us kī-sī soch se lais kareṅ. Kyoṅki jis ne Masīh kī ḳhātir jismānī taur par dukh sah liyā hai us ne gunāh se nipaṭ liyā hai. 2 Natīje meṅ wuh zamīn par apnī bāqī zindagī insān kī burī ḳhāhishāt pūrī karne meṅ nahīṅ guzāregā balki Allāh kī marzī pūrī karne meṅ. 3 Māzī meṅ āp ne kāfī waqt wuh kuchh karne meṅ guzārā jo ġhairīmāndār pasand karte haiṅ yānī aiyāshī, shahwatparastī, nashābāzī, sharābnoshī, rangraliyoṅ, nāch-rang aur ghinaunī butparastī meṅ. 4 Ab āp ke ġhairīmāndār dost tājjub karte haiṅ ki āp un ke sāth mil kar aiyāshī ke is tez dhāre meṅ chhalāṅg nahīṅ lagāte. Is lie wuh āp par kufr bakte haiṅ. 5 Lekin unheṅ Allāh ko jawāb denā paṛegā jo zindoṅ aur murdoṅ kī adālat karne ke lie taiyār khaṛā hai. 6 Yihī wajah hai ki Allāh kī ḳhushḳhabrī unheṅ bhī sunāī gaī jo ab murdā haiṅ. Maqsad yih thā ki wuh Allāh ke sāmne Rūh meṅ zindagī guzār sakeṅ agarche insānī lihāz se un ke jism kī adālat kī gaī hai. 7 Tamām chīzoṅ kā ḳhātmā qarīb ā gayā hai. Chunāṅche duā karne ke lie chust aur hoshmand raheṅ. 8 Sab se zarūrī bāt yih hai ki āp ek dūsre se lagātār muhabbat rakheṅ, kyoṅki muhabbat gunāhoṅ kī baṛī tādād par pardā ḍāl detī hai. 9 Buṛbuṛāe baġhair ek dūsre kī mehmān-nawāzī kareṅ. 10 Allāh apnā fazl muḳhtalif nematoṅ se zāhir kartā hai. Fazl kā yih intazām wafādārī se chalāte hue ek dūsre kī ḳhidmat kareṅ, har ek us nemat se jo use milī hai. 11 Agar koī bole to Allāh ke-se alfāz ke sāth bole. Agar koī ḳhidmat kare to us tāqat ke zariye jo Allāh use muhaiyā kartā hai, kyoṅki is tarah hī Allāh ko Īsā Masīh ke wasīle se jalāl diyā jāegā. Azal se abad tak jalāl aur qudrat usī kī ho! Āmīn. 12 Azīzo, īzārasānī kī us āg par tājjub na kareṅ jo āp ko āzmāne ke lie āp par ān paṛī hai. Yih mat sochnā ki mere sāth kaisī ġhairmāmūlī bāt ho rahī hai. 13 Balki ḳhushī manāeṅ ki āp Masīh ke dukhoṅ meṅ sharīk ho rahe haiṅ. Kyoṅki phir āp us waqt bhī ḳhushī manāeṅge jab Masīh kā jalāl zāhir hogā. 14 Agar log is lie āp kī be'izzatī karte haiṅ ki āp Masīh ke pairokār haiṅ to āp mubārak haiṅ. Kyoṅki is kā matlab hai ki Allāh kā jalālī Rūh āp par ṭhahrā huā hai. 15 Agar āp meṅ se kisī ko dukh uṭhānā paṛe to yih is lie nahīṅ honā chāhie ki āp qātil, chor, mujrim yā fasādī haiṅ. 16 Lekin agar āp ko Masīh ke pairokār hone kī wajah se dukh uṭhānā paṛe to na sharmāeṅ balki Masīh ke nām meṅ Allāh kī hamd-o-sanā kareṅ. 17 Kyoṅki ab waqt ā gayā hai ki Allāh kī adālat shurū ho jāe, aur pahle us ke ghar wāloṅ kī adālat kī jāegī. Agar aisā hai to phir is kā anjām un ke lie kyā hogā jo Allāh kī ḳhushḳhabrī ke tābe nahīṅ haiṅ? 18 Aur agar rāstbāz mushkil se bacheṅge to phir bedīn aur gunāhgār kā kyā hogā? 19 Chunāṅche jo Allāh kī marzī se dukh uṭhā rahe haiṅ wuh nek kām karne se bāz na āeṅ balki apnī jānoṅ ko usī ke hawāle kareṅ jo un kā wafādār Ḳhāliq hai.
