2 John 1 (BOVCB)
1 Đây là thư của Giăng, một trưởng lão của Hội Thánh.Kính lời chào thăm bà và quý Hội Thánh mà tôi cũng như tất cả những người đã biết chân lý đều rất yêu mến— 2 vì chân lý tồn tại trong chúng ta và ở với chúng ta muôn đời. 3 Cầu xin Đức Chúa Trời, Cha chúng ta và Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu—Con Ngài—ban cho chúng ta ơn phước, nhân từ, bình an trong chân lý và tình yêu. 4 Tôi rất vui mừng được gặp một số anh chị em tín hữu của quý Hội Thánh tại đây và thấy họ sống theo chân lý như Chúa Cha đã truyền dạy chúng ta. 5 Thưa bà và các anh chị em, tôi xin ân cần nhắc nhở quy luật Đức Chúa Trời ban cho chúng ta từ đầu là chúng ta phải yêu thương nhau. 6 Nếu chúng ta yêu Đức Chúa Trời, chúng ta phải thực hành mệnh lệnh Ngài, và ngay từ ban đầu Ngài dạy chúng ta phải yêu thương nhau. 7 Hãy coi chừng các lãnh đạo giả dối đã xuất hiện ở nhiều nơi; họ không tin Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu đã đến thế gian trong hình hài xương thịt như chúng ta. Đó là người lừa gạt, kẻ phản Chúa Cứu Thế. 8 Anh chị em hãy đề phòng, đừng đánh mất thành quả mà anh chị em đã dày công gây dựng, nhưng hãy cố gắng để lãnh trọn phần thưởng nơi Chúa. 9 Vì nếu anh chị em xa lìa lời dạy của Chúa Giê-xu, anh chị em sẽ mất Đức Chúa Trời, nhưng nếu anh chị em vâng giữ giáo huấn của Chúa Cứu Thế, anh chị em sẽ có cả Chúa Cha và Chúa Con. 10 Nếu có ai đến giảng dạy anh chị em mà không tin lời dạy của Chúa Giê-xu, đừng rước họ vào nhà, cũng đừng hoan nghênh họ. 11 Nếu tiếp đón họ là đồng lõa với họ làm việc ác. 12 Tôi còn có nhiều điều cần nói, nhưng không muốn viết ra đây. Mong sẽ có dịp đến thăm bà và các anh chị em để chúng ta trực tiếp nói hết mọi chuyện với nhau thì tốt hơn, lúc ấy tất cả chúng ta đều vui mừng trọn vẹn. 13 Các tín hữu tại đây kính lời chào thăm bà và quý Hội Thánh.
