1 Thessalonians 1 (BPH)

1 Dette brev er fra Paulus, Silas og Timoteus til menigheden i Thessaloniki, der tilhører Gud Fader og Herren Jesus Kristus. Vi behøver ikke engang selv at sige noget om det, 9 for andre fortæller om, hvad der skete, da vi kom til jer, og hvordan I brød med afguderne og vendte jer til den levende og sande Gud for at tjene ham. 10 Og de fortæller om, hvordan I med stor forventning ser frem til, at Guds Søn, Jesus, som blev oprejst fra de døde, skal vende tilbage fra Himlen og frelse os fra den kommende dom.
