1 Cuando Yo quería curar a Israel, Se descubrió la iniquidad de Efraín Y las maldades de Samaria, Porque practican el engaño; El ladrón entra, Los bandidos despojan por fuera, 2 Y ellos no consideran en su corazón Que Yo recuerdo toda su maldad. Sobre ellos vendrá la destrucción, porque contra Mí se han rebelado; Yo los redimiría, pero ellos hablan mentiras contra Mí. 14 Y no claman a Mí de corazón Cuando gimen en sus lechos; Por el trigo y el vino nuevo se reúnen, Y se alejan de Mí. 15 Aunque Yo adiestré y fortalecí sus brazos, Traman el mal contra Mí. 16 Se vuelven, pero no hacia lo alto, Son como un arco engañoso. Sus príncipes caerán a espada Por la insolencia de sus lenguas. Esto será su escarnio en la tierra de Egipto.
