1 Ataliyāh kī hukūmat ke sātweṅ sāl meṅ Yahoyadā ne jurrat karke sau sau faujiyoṅ par muqarrar pāṅch afsaroṅ se ahd bāndhā. Ek hissā Rab ke ghar ke darwāzoṅ par pahrā de, 5 dūsrā shāhī mahal par aur tīsrā Bunyād nāmī darwāze par. Bāqī sab ādmī Rab ke ghar ke sahnoṅ meṅ jamā ho jāeṅ. 6 Ḳhidmat karne wāle imāmoṅ aur Lāwiyoṅ ke siwā koī aur Rab ke ghar meṅ dāḳhil na ho. Sirf yihī andar jā sakte haiṅ, kyoṅki Rab ne unheṅ is ḳhidmat ke lie maḳhsūs kiyā hai. Lāzim hai ki pūrī qaum Rab kī hidāyāt par amal kare. 7 Bāqī Lāwī bādshāh ke irdgird dāyrā banā kar apne hathiyāroṅ ko pakaṛe rakheṅ aur jahāṅ bhī wuh jāe use ghere rakheṅ. Jo bhī Rab ke ghar meṅ ghusne kī koshish kare use mār ḍālnā.” 8 Lāwī aur Yahūdāh ke in tamām mardoṅ ne aisā hī kiyā. Agle Sabat ke din sab apne bandoṅ samet us ke pās āe, wuh bhī jin kī ḍyūṭī thī aur wuh bhī jin kī ab chhuṭṭī thī. Kyoṅki Yahoyadā ne ḳhidmat karne wāloṅ meṅ se kisī ko bhī jāne kī ijāzat nahīṅ dī thī. 9 Imām ne sau sau faujiyoṅ par muqarrar afsaroṅ ko Dāūd Bādshāh ke wuh neze aur chhoṭī aur baṛī ḍhāleṅ dīṅ jo ab tak Rab ke ghar meṅ mahfūz rakhī huī thīṅ. 10 Phir us ne faujiyoṅ ko bādshāh ke irdgird khaṛā kiyā. Har ek apne hathiyār pakaṛe taiyār thā. Qurbāngāh aur Rab ke ghar ke darmiyān un kā dāyrā Rab ke ghar kī junūbī dīwār se le kar us kī shimālī dīwār tak phailā huā thā. 11 Phir wuh Yuās ko bāhar lāe aur us ke sar par tāj rakh kar use qawānīn kī kitāb de dī. Yoṅ Yuās ko bādshāh banā diyā gayā. Unhoṅ ne use masah kiyā aur buland āwāz se nārā lagāne lage, “Bādshāh zindābād!” 12 Logoṅ kā shor Ataliyāh tak pahuṅchā, kyoṅki sab dauṛ kar jamā ho rahe aur bādshāh kī ḳhushī meṅ nāre lagā rahe the. Wuh Rab ke ghar ke sahan meṅ un ke pās āī 13 to kyā deḳhtī hai ki nayā bādshāh darwāze ke qarīb us satūn ke pās khaṛā hai jahāṅ bādshāh riwāj ke mutābiq khaṛā hotā hai, aur wuh afsaroṅ aur turam bajāne wāloṅ se ghirā huā hai. Tamām ummat bhī sāth khaṛī turam bajā bajā kar ḳhushī manā rahī hai. Sāth sāth gulūkār apne sāz bajā kar hamd ke gīt gāne meṅ rāhnumāī kar rahe haiṅ. Ataliyāh ranjish ke māre apne kapṛe phāṛ kar chīḳh uṭhī, “Ġhaddārī, ġhaddārī!” 14 Yahoyadā Imām ne sau sau faujiyoṅ par muqarrar un afsaroṅ ko bulāyā jin ke sapurd fauj kī gaī thī aur unheṅ hukm diyā, “Use bāhar le jāeṅ, kyoṅki munāsib nahīṅ ki use Rab ke ghar ke pās mārā jāe. Aur jo bhī us ke pīchhe āe use talwār se mār denā.” 15 Wuh Ataliyāh ko pakaṛ kar wahāṅ se bāhar le gae aur use Ghoṛoṅ ke Darwāze par mār diyā jo shāhī mahal ke pās thā. 16 Phir Yahoyadā ne qaum aur bādshāh ke sāth mil kar Rab se ahd bāndh kar wādā kiyā ki ham Rab kī qaum raheṅge. 17 Is ke bād sab Bāl ke mandir par ṭūṭ paṛe aur use ḍhā diyā. Us kī qurbāngāhoṅ aur butoṅ ko ṭukṛe ṭukṛe karke unhoṅ ne Bāl ke pujārī Mattān ko qurbāngāhoṅ ke sāmne hī mār ḍālā. 18 Yahoyadā ne imāmoṅ aur Lāwiyoṅ ko dubārā Rab ke ghar ko saṅbhālne kī zimmedārī dī. Dāūd ne unheṅ ḳhidmat ke lie gurohoṅ meṅ taqsīm kiyā thā. Us kī hidāyāt ke mutābiq unhīṅ ko ḳhushī manāte aur gīt gāte hue bhasm hone wālī qurbāniyāṅ pesh karnī thīṅ, jis tarah Mūsā kī sharīat meṅ likhā hai. 19 Rab ke ghar ke darwāzoṅ par Yahoyadā ne darbān khaṛe kie tāki aise logoṅ ko andar āne se rokā jāe jo kisī bhī wajah se nāpāk hoṅ. 20 Phir wuh sau sau faujiyoṅ par muqarrar afsaroṅ, asar-o-rasūḳh wāloṅ, qaum ke hukmrānoṅ aur bāqī pūrī ummat ke hamrāh julūs nikāl kar bādshāh ko Bālāī Darwāze se ho kar shāhī mahal meṅ le gayā. Wahāṅ unhoṅ ne bādshāh ko taḳht par biṭhā diyā, 21 aur tamām ummat ḳhushī manātī rahī. Yoṅ Yarūshalam Shahr ko sukūn milā, kyoṅki Ataliyāh ko talwār se mār diyā gayā thā.
