Revelation 7 (AS21)
1 Depois disso vi, nos quatro cantos da terra, quatro anjos em pé retendo os quatro ventos da terra, para que nenhum vento soprasse sobre ela, nem sobre o mar, nem contra árvore alguma. 2 Vi outro anjo subir do oriente, tendo o selo do Deus vivo. Ele clamou em alta voz aos quatro anjos que haviam recebido autoridade para causar danos à terra e ao mar: 3 Não danifiqueis a terra, nem o mar, nem as árvores, até que selemos a testa dos servos do nosso Deus. 4 Então ouvi o número dos que foram selados: eram cento e quarenta e quatro mil de todas as tribos dos filhos de Israel. 5 Da tribo de Judá foram selados doze mil; da tribo de Rúben, doze mil; da tribo de Gade, doze mil; 6 da tribo de Aser, doze mil; da tribo de Naftali, doze mil; da tribo de Manassés, doze mil; 7 da tribo de Simeão, doze mil; da tribo de Levi, doze mil; da tribo de Issacar, doze mil; 8 da tribo de Zebulom, doze mil; da tribo de José, doze mil; e da tribo de Benjamim, doze mil foram os selados. 9 Depois dessas coisas, vi uma grande multidão, que ninguém podia contar, de todas as nações, tribos, povos e línguas, em pé diante do trono e na presença do Cordeiro, todos vestidos com túnicas brancas e segurando palmas nas mãos; 10 e clamavam em alta voz: Salvação ao nosso Deus, que está assentado no trono, e ao Cordeiro. 11 Todos os anjos que estavam em pé ao redor do trono dos anciãos e dos quatro seres viventes prostraram-se diante do trono com o rosto em terra e adoraram a Deus, 12 dizendo: Amém. Louvor, glória, sabedoria, ações de graça, honra, poder e força sejam ao nosso Deus, pelos séculos dos séculos. Amém. 13 Então, um dos anciãos me perguntou: Quem são e de onde vieram estes que estão vestidos com túnicas brancas? 14 Eu lhe respondi: Meu Senhor, tu sabes. E ele me disse: Estes são os que vêm da grande tribulação e lavaram as suas túnicas e as branquearam no sangue do Cordeiro. 15 Por isso estão diante do trono de Deus e o servem de dia e de noite no seu santuário, e aquele que está assentado no trono estenderá o seu tabernáculo sobre eles. 16 Nunca mais terão fome, nem sede, nem cairá sobre eles o sol, nem calor algum; 17 porque o Cordeiro que está no meio, diante do trono, os apascentará e os conduzirá às fontes das águas da vida, e Deus lhes enxugará dos olhos toda lágrima.
