1 ହେ ପ୍ରିଯତମାଃ, ଯୂଯଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେଷ୍ୱାତ୍ମସୁ ନ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିତ କିନ୍ତୁ ତେ ଈଶ୍ୱରାତ୍ ଜାତା ନ ୱେତ୍ୟାତ୍ମନଃ ପରୀକ୍ଷଧ୍ୱଂ ଯତୋ ବହୱୋ ମୃଷାଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାଦିନୋ ଜଗନ୍ମଧ୍ୟମ୍ ଆଗତୱନ୍ତଃ| 2 ଈଶ୍ୱରୀଯୋ ଯ ଆତ୍ମା ସ ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିରନେନ ପରିଚୀଯତାଂ, ଯୀଶୁଃ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟୋ ନରାୱତାରୋ ଭୂତ୍ୱାଗତ ଏତଦ୍ ଯେନ କେନଚିଦ୍ ଆତ୍ମନା ସ୍ୱୀକ୍ରିଯତେ ସ ଈଶ୍ୱରୀଯଃ| 3 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁଃ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟୋ ନରାୱତାରୋ ଭୂତ୍ୱାଗତ ଏତଦ୍ ଯେନ କେନଚିଦ୍ ଆତ୍ମନା ନାଙ୍ଗୀକ୍ରିଯତେ ସ ଈଶ୍ୱରୀଯୋ ନହି କିନ୍ତୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟାରେରାତ୍ମା, ତେନ ଚାଗନ୍ତୱ୍ୟମିତି ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିଃ ଶ୍ରୁତଂ, ସ ଚେଦାନୀମପି ଜଗତି ୱର୍ତ୍ତତେ| 4 ହେ ବାଲକାଃ, ଯୂଯମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରାତ୍ ଜାତାସ୍ତାନ୍ ଜିତୱନ୍ତଶ୍ଚ ଯତଃ ସଂସାରାଧିଷ୍ଠାନକାରିଣୋ ଽପି ଯୁଷ୍ମଦଧିଷ୍ଠାନକାରୀ ମହାନ୍| 5 ତେ ସଂସାରାତ୍ ଜାତାସ୍ତତୋ ହେତୋଃ ସଂସାରାଦ୍ ଭାଷନ୍ତେ ସଂସାରଶ୍ଚ ତେଷାଂ ୱାକ୍ୟାନି ଗୃହ୍ଲାତି| 6 ୱଯମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରାତ୍ ଜାତାଃ, ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ ଯୋ ଜାନାତି ସୋଽସ୍ମଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟାନି ଗୃହ୍ଲାତି ଯଶ୍ଚେଶ୍ୱରାତ୍ ଜାତୋ ନହି ସୋଽସ୍ମଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟାନି ନ ଗୃହ୍ଲାତି; ଅନେନ ୱଯଂ ସତ୍ୟାତ୍ମାନଂ ଭ୍ରାମକାତ୍ମାନଞ୍ଚ ପରିଚିନୁମଃ| 7 ହେ ପ୍ରିଯତମାଃ, ୱଯଂ ପରସ୍ପରଂ ପ୍ରେମ କରୱାମ, ଯତଃ ପ୍ରେମ ଈଶ୍ୱରାତ୍ ଜାଯତେ, ଅପରଂ ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚିତ୍ ପ୍ରେମ କରୋତି ସ ଈଶ୍ୱରାତ୍ ଜାତ ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ ୱେତ୍ତି ଚ| 8 ଯଃ ପ୍ରେମ ନ କରୋତି ସ ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ ନ ଜାନାତି ଯତ ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ପ୍ରେମସ୍ୱରୂପଃ| 9 ଅସ୍ମାସ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେମୈତେନ ପ୍ରାକାଶତ ଯତ୍ ସ୍ୱପୁତ୍ରେଣାସ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ ଜୀୱନଦାନାର୍ଥମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ସ୍ୱୀଯମ୍ ଅଦ୍ୱିତୀଯଂ ପୁତ୍ରଂ ଜଗନ୍ମଧ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରେଷିତୱାନ୍| 10 ୱଯଂ ଯଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରେ ପ୍ରୀତୱନ୍ତ ଇତ୍ୟତ୍ର ନହି କିନ୍ତୁ ସ ଯଦସ୍ମାସୁ ପ୍ରୀତୱାନ୍ ଅସ୍ମତ୍ପାପାନାଂ ପ୍ରାଯଶ୍ଚିର୍ତ୍ତାର୍ଥଂ ସ୍ୱପୁତ୍ରଂ ପ୍ରେଷିତୱାଂଶ୍ଚେତ୍ୟତ୍ର ପ୍ରେମ ସନ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତେ| 11 ହେ ପ୍ରିଯତମାଃ, ଅସ୍ମାସୁ ଯଦୀଶ୍ୱରେଣୈତାଦୃଶଂ ପ୍ରେମ କୃତଂ ତର୍ହି ପରସ୍ପରଂ ପ୍ରେମ କର୍ତ୍ତୁମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାକମପ୍ୟୁଚିତଂ| 12 ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ କଦାଚ କେନାପି ନ ଦୃଷ୍ଟଃ ଯଦ୍ୟସ୍ମାଭିଃ ପରସ୍ପରଂ ପ୍ରେମ କ୍ରିଯତେ ତର୍ହୀଶ୍ୱରୋ ଽସ୍ମନ୍ମଧ୍ୟେ ତିଷ୍ଠତି ତସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେମ ଚାସ୍ମାସୁ ସେତ୍ସ୍ୟତେ| 13 ଅସ୍ମଭ୍ୟଂ ତେନ ସ୍ୱକୀଯାତ୍ମନୋଂଽଶୋ ଦତ୍ତ ଇତ୍ୟନେନ ୱଯଂ ଯତ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ତିଷ୍ଠାମଃ ସ ଚ ଯଦ୍ ଅସ୍ମାସୁ ତିଷ୍ଠତୀତି ଜାନୀମଃ| 14 ପିତା ଜଗତ୍ରାତାରଂ ପୁତ୍ରଂ ପ୍ରେଷିତୱାନ୍ ଏତଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ପ୍ରମାଣଯାମଃ| 15 ଯୀଶୁରୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ଏତଦ୍ ଯେନାଙ୍ଗୀକ୍ରିଯତେ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତି ସ ଚେଶ୍ୱରେ ତିଷ୍ଠତି| 16 ଅସ୍ମାସ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଯତ୍ ପ୍ରେମ ୱର୍ତ୍ତତେ ତଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ଜ୍ଞାତୱନ୍ତସ୍ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ୱିଶ୍ୱାସିତୱନ୍ତଶ୍ଚ| ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ପ୍ରେମସ୍ୱରୂପଃ ପ୍ରେମ୍ନୀ ଯସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତି ସ ଈଶ୍ୱରେ ତିଷ୍ଠତି ତସ୍ମିଂଶ୍ଚେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତି| 17 ସ ଯାଦୃଶୋ ଽସ୍ତି ୱଯମପ୍ୟେତସ୍ମିନ୍ ଜଗତି ତାଦୃଶା ଭୱାମ ଏତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ୱିଚାରଦିନେ ଽସ୍ମାଭି ର୍ୟା ପ୍ରତିଭା ଲଭ୍ୟତେ ସାସ୍ମତ୍ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀଯସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେମ୍ନଃ ସିଦ୍ଧିଃ| 18 ପ୍ରେମ୍ନି ଭୀତି ର୍ନ ୱର୍ତ୍ତତେ କିନ୍ତୁ ସିଦ୍ଧଂ ପ୍ରେମ ଭୀତିଂ ନିରାକରୋତି ଯତୋ ଭୀତିଃ ସଯାତନାସ୍ତି ଭୀତୋ ମାନୱଃ ପ୍ରେମ୍ନି ସିଦ୍ଧୋ ନ ଜାତଃ| 19 ଅସ୍ମାସୁ ସ ପ୍ରଥମଂ ପ୍ରୀତୱାନ୍ ଇତି କାରଣାଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ପ୍ରୀଯାମହେ| 20 ଈଶ୍ୱରେ ଽହଂ ପ୍ରୀଯ ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚିତ୍ ସ୍ୱଭ୍ରାତରଂ ଦ୍ୱେଷ୍ଟି ସୋ ଽନୃତୱାଦୀ| ସ ଯଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ସ୍ୱଭ୍ରାତରି ଯଦି ନ ପ୍ରୀଯତେ ତର୍ହି ଯମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରଂ ନ ଦୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ କଥଂ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ପ୍ରେମ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୁଯାତ୍? 21 ଅତ ଈଶ୍ୱରେ ଯଃ ପ୍ରୀଯତେ ସ ସ୍ୱୀଯଭ୍ରାତର୍ୟ୍ୟପି ପ୍ରୀଯତାମ୍ ଇଯମ୍ ଆଜ୍ଞା ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଅସ୍ମାଭି ର୍ଲବ୍ଧା|
