1 ஹே ப்ரியதமா​:, யூயம்ʼ ஸர்வ்வேஷ்வாத்மஸு ந விஸ்²வஸித கிந்து தே ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாதா ந வேத்யாத்மந​: பரீக்ஷத்⁴வம்ʼ யதோ ப³ஹவோ ம்ருʼஷாப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நோ ஜக³ந்மத்⁴யம் ஆக³தவந்த​:| 2 ஈஸ்²வரீயோ ய ஆத்மா ஸ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரநேந பரிசீயதாம்ʼ, யீஸு²​: க்²ரீஷ்டோ நராவதாரோ பூ⁴த்வாக³த ஏதத்³ யேந கேநசித்³ ஆத்மநா ஸ்வீக்ரியதே ஸ ஈஸ்²வரீய​:| 3 கிந்து யீஸு²​: க்²ரீஷ்டோ நராவதாரோ பூ⁴த்வாக³த ஏதத்³ யேந கேநசித்³ ஆத்மநா நாங்கீ³க்ரியதே ஸ ஈஸ்²வரீயோ நஹி கிந்து க்²ரீஷ்டாரேராத்மா, தேந சாக³ந்தவ்யமிதி யுஷ்மாபி⁴​: ஸ்²ருதம்ʼ, ஸ சேதா³நீமபி ஜக³தி வர்த்ததே| 4 ஹே பா³லகா​:, யூயம் ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாதாஸ்தாந் ஜிதவந்தஸ்²ச யத​: ஸம்ʼஸாராதி⁴ஷ்டா²நகாரிணோ (அ)பி யுஷ்மத³தி⁴ஷ்டா²நகாரீ மஹாந்| 5 தே ஸம்ʼஸாராத் ஜாதாஸ்ததோ ஹேதோ​: ஸம்ʼஸாராத்³ பா⁴ஷந்தே ஸம்ʼஸாரஸ்²ச தேஷாம்ʼ வாக்யாநி க்³ருʼஹ்லாதி| 6 வயம் ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாதா​:, ஈஸ்²வரம்ʼ யோ ஜாநாதி ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மத்³வாக்யாநி க்³ருʼஹ்லாதி யஸ்²சேஸ்²வராத் ஜாதோ நஹி ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மத்³வாக்யாநி ந க்³ருʼஹ்லாதி; அநேந வயம்ʼ ஸத்யாத்மாநம்ʼ ப்⁴ராமகாத்மாநஞ்ச பரிசிநும​:| 7 ஹே ப்ரியதமா​:, வயம்ʼ பரஸ்பரம்ʼ ப்ரேம கரவாம, யத​: ப்ரேம ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாயதே, அபரம்ʼ ய​: கஸ்²சித் ப்ரேம கரோதி ஸ ஈஸ்²வராத் ஜாத ஈஸ்²வரம்ʼ வேத்தி ச| 8 ய​: ப்ரேம ந கரோதி ஸ ஈஸ்²வரம்ʼ ந ஜாநாதி யத ஈஸ்²வர​: ப்ரேமஸ்வரூப​:| 9 அஸ்மாஸ்வீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரேமைதேந ப்ராகாஸ²த யத் ஸ்வபுத்ரேணாஸ்மப்⁴யம்ʼ ஜீவநதா³நார்த²ம் ஈஸ்²வர​: ஸ்வீயம் அத்³விதீயம்ʼ புத்ரம்ʼ ஜக³ந்மத்⁴யம்ʼ ப்ரேஷிதவாந்| 10 வயம்ʼ யத்³ ஈஸ்²வரே ப்ரீதவந்த இத்யத்ர நஹி கிந்து ஸ யத³ஸ்மாஸு ப்ரீதவாந் அஸ்மத்பாபாநாம்ʼ ப்ராயஸ்²சிர்த்தார்த²ம்ʼ ஸ்வபுத்ரம்ʼ ப்ரேஷிதவாம்ʼஸ்²சேத்யத்ர ப்ரேம ஸந்திஷ்ட²தே| 11 ஹே ப்ரியதமா​:, அஸ்மாஸு யதீ³ஸ்²வரேணைதாத்³ருʼஸ²ம்ʼ ப்ரேம க்ருʼதம்ʼ தர்ஹி பரஸ்பரம்ʼ ப்ரேம கர்த்தும் அஸ்மாகமப்யுசிதம்ʼ| 12 ஈஸ்²வர​: கதா³ச கேநாபி ந த்³ருʼஷ்ட​: யத்³யஸ்மாபி⁴​: பரஸ்பரம்ʼ ப்ரேம க்ரியதே தர்ஹீஸ்²வரோ (அ)ஸ்மந்மத்⁴யே திஷ்ட²தி தஸ்ய ப்ரேம சாஸ்மாஸு ஸேத்ஸ்யதே| 13 அஸ்மப்⁴யம்ʼ தேந ஸ்வகீயாத்மநோம்ʼ(அ)ஸோ² த³த்த இத்யநேந வயம்ʼ யத் தஸ்மிந் திஷ்டா²ம​: ஸ ச யத்³ அஸ்மாஸு திஷ்ட²தீதி ஜாநீம​:| 14 பிதா ஜக³த்ராதாரம்ʼ புத்ரம்ʼ ப்ரேஷிதவாந் ஏதத்³ வயம்ʼ த்³ருʼஷ்ட்வா ப்ரமாணயாம​:| 15 யீஸு²ரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ர ஏதத்³ யேநாங்கீ³க்ரியதே தஸ்மிந் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்திஷ்ட²தி ஸ சேஸ்²வரே திஷ்ட²தி| 16 அஸ்மாஸ்வீஸ்²வரஸ்ய யத் ப்ரேம வர்த்ததே தத்³ வயம்ʼ ஜ்ஞாதவந்தஸ்தஸ்மிந் விஸ்²வாஸிதவந்தஸ்²ச| ஈஸ்²வர​: ப்ரேமஸ்வரூப​: ப்ரேம்நீ யஸ்திஷ்ட²தி ஸ ஈஸ்²வரே திஷ்ட²தி தஸ்மிம்ʼஸ்²சேஸ்²வரஸ்திஷ்ட²தி| 17 ஸ யாத்³ருʼஸோ² (அ)ஸ்தி வயமப்யேதஸ்மிந் ஜக³தி தாத்³ருʼஸா² ப⁴வாம ஏதஸ்மாத்³ விசாரதி³நே (அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்யா ப்ரதிபா⁴ லப்⁴யதே ஸாஸ்மத்ஸம்ப³ந்தீ⁴யஸ்ய ப்ரேம்ந​: ஸித்³தி⁴​:| 18 ப்ரேம்நி பீ⁴தி ர்ந வர்த்ததே கிந்து ஸித்³த⁴ம்ʼ ப்ரேம பீ⁴திம்ʼ நிராகரோதி யதோ பீ⁴தி​: ஸயாதநாஸ்தி பீ⁴தோ மாநவ​: ப்ரேம்நி ஸித்³தோ⁴ ந ஜாத​:| 19 அஸ்மாஸு ஸ ப்ரத²மம்ʼ ப்ரீதவாந் இதி காரணாத்³ வயம்ʼ தஸ்மிந் ப்ரீயாமஹே| 20 ஈஸ்²வரே (அ)ஹம்ʼ ப்ரீய இத்யுக்த்வா ய​: கஸ்²சித் ஸ்வப்⁴ராதரம்ʼ த்³வேஷ்டி ஸோ (அ)ந்ருʼதவாதீ³| ஸ யம்ʼ த்³ருʼஷ்டவாந் தஸ்மிந் ஸ்வப்⁴ராதரி யதி³ ந ப்ரீயதே தர்ஹி யம் ஈஸ்²வரம்ʼ ந த்³ருʼஷ்டவாந் கத²ம்ʼ தஸ்மிந் ப்ரேம கர்த்தும்ʼ ஸ²க்நுயாத்? 21 அத ஈஸ்²வரே ய​: ப்ரீயதே ஸ ஸ்வீயப்⁴ராதர்ய்யபி ப்ரீயதாம் இயம் ஆஜ்ஞா தஸ்மாத்³ அஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்லப்³தா⁴|
